The Skyscraper (the Bruges Whale), outside ArtScience Museum. The large eye-catching whale – made up of ocean plastic waste – sets out to shine a light on how much waste has been washed from major cities into the oceans.
its been a fast paced week as i raced to get things done at work and out of work; the rainy weather isnt helping much. my favourite sweater smells like salted fish because it couldnt dry properly in this weather zzz 🤢
no christmas gifting whatsoever this year at where i am because i have given them much this past year with the work i have done and the countless times i save the unthankful, ungrateful and self-entitled asses of the seniors and brats so yup, all those my gifts to them. cant wait for 1 april 2020 for the transfer to be completed.
i'll miss my cat friends with one in perth this year boohoooos.
and with the ones closer, catching up over eng seng's black pepper crab, cedele's crackling pork and all those good glorious food out there - these times spent are much better than gifting.
on catching up, sometime last year i received an email from an acquaintant asking how i had been and that she heard i was back at where i was; below that e-mail was one of our correspondences back in 2014. i deleted the e-mail and didnt reply - we should move on with life and not keep holding on to the past.
and so, onward to 2020! 🤩

Xilin Avenue was named after local Chinese pioneer Koh Sek Lim, a pineapple and coconut plantation owner in the early 1900s. The area was filled with farms, rubber estates, and mangrove swamps consisting of Nipah palm trees. These palms were used to make roofs for kampong houses, while their fruit was used for desserts such as ice kacang. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

- Feels really good editing some backlog that’s been sitting in my hard drive for quite some time. Shot during one of the NDP rehearsals this year. Haven’t gone out to shoot in such a long time, where’s good to explore in SG?
