Three years ago, I joined Realtron with the goal of being a more successful realtor. This move has truly been a significant game changer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Toronto’s real estate markets began to decline in both the number sold and sales in the first year that I joined RE/MAX Realtron. But my business grew rapidly, almost 4 times the production level from the previous year! More importantly, more than 80% of my transactions were listings (representing home owners who are selling their property)

On Wednesday Morning, council approved new property tax rates for 2020. Residential property taxes will rise 4.24 per cent in 2020, council decided.
For the average homeowner, the property tax increases mean roughly an additional $130 this year.
The 4.24 per cent includes: * A two per cent inflationary increase in average residential property taxes to support city operating budget expenses. * A 1.5 per cent increase in the city building fund to support transit and housing capital projects. * A .74 per cent increase in average residential property taxes that results from a tax shift from industrial and commercial properties to residential properties in line with city policies and provincial law.
Mayor John Tory acknowledged that many Toronto residents are facing financial challenges, but said the operating budget includes $79.4 million in new investments in "key" areas, preserves existing services and finds efficiencies in city government.

Designed over 3 years by Edward James Lennox and built over the course of 10 years, Toronto's Old City Hall opened in September 1899. The building was primarily designed as a home for Toronto's city hall but also functioned as a court house, which is its only function today.
Although the building today is such an important landmark in Toronto, it's creation was not without problems. After a dispute with the contractors responsible for building the monumental building, Lennox and the police had to storm the barricaded building and remove the construction crew. He later supposedly got revenge on the construction crew by caricaturing them in the gargoyles that adorn the building.
Later on, when the massive Eaton Centre project was being considered, Old City Hall was to be demolished to make way for the shopping Centre. However, citizens of Toronto and government leaders came to together to make sure one of the oldest buildings in the city was left untouched.
