A few different shots of the same mountain. I've shied away from shooting Hudson Bay Mountain before because it's just such a classic. But recently I've challenged myself to go out and just shoot, just do it. I have a shot of the mountain that I've been trying to get for the last few months, but the conditions just haven't lined up perfectly
On a trip to Victoria, don't skip a stop at Fisherman's Wharf! Between the kaleidoscopic homes and the chance to catch a glimpse of an adorable harbour seal, it's a worthy spot to while away a sunny spring afternoon. 📷: @caressesandtravels

Day 50. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this view. So lucky to live here. Where do you go to unwind and let go of the stress? I head to the beach or for a hike. Taking a break from the weekly routine is so good for my soul and connecting with nature makes me feel alive & rejuvenated.
It’s fitting that we said “yes” to forever in the middle of a storm. That’s been the past year, @natehenczel being patient and holding space for me as I worked through some of the deepest pain I’ve ever experienced.
Thank you to everyone who’s encouraged us, who’s taken the time to text, message, comment, call and let us know that you’re celebrating with us. Know that it means the world.
@natehenczel, it’s a gift to ride waves and take on storms with you.
thanks for all of the positive vibes this week 😎
appreciate all the good words sent for Kate’s birthday, and for the announcement of @withcandor.ca. your encouragement goes a long way.
We celebrated Kate’s first year amongst the trees @capilanosuspensionbridge, where we learned about douglas firs, cedars and hemlocks, and it was perfect.
Did you know you can eat hemlock tree needles? Tasted a little lemony to me 🍋🌲

Cold never bothered me anyway. - Elsa
This was one of those days that ended up much different from what I planned. I was out shooting with Ben + I got a text from Nick at @compass_heli_tours to see if I wanted to fly + go into ice caves. 🚁 We finished our shoot, grabbed some food + went on a totally unplanned adventure. 😊 I only had my @blundstoneca to hike in knee-deep snow + Ben was wearing Vans. 😂
It was an unforgettable afternoon in the ice caves with breathtaking sunset views on the flight home. I made some new friends + had an amazing experience. Are you someone that loves the unplanned? 📷 @itsbigben

Have you ever tried winter camping? Warm coffee is a must ☕️ 😃
“I decided to try out something different. Take a photo the day before the snow, and a photo after the snow. This place is beautiful with and without snow!” ✨

My happy place 🌲 🌊 I could spend hours sitting by the ocean to watch the waves roll in. What’s your happy place?
