“Since graduating RHI, I have had many job opportunities and have been able to find a restaurant that I can grow and learn more from. I would recommend RHI to anyone wanting to enter into the Food and Beverage Industry. If you want to have an edge over the competition then attend RHI.” - RHI graduate Bryant O.

Digital Modeling & Fabrication student Jeff designed and fabricated these amazing furniture door front #prototypes made of #wood and #plastic in the shop this week. If you can imagine it, you can build it!
Robert, a senior in the Metal Fabrication/Welding program, was recognized by his co-op employer for his hard work on the job. We thank Overhead Door of Boston for being a South Shore Tech Cooperative Education Employer again this year. Robert's relationship with Overhead Door is a great example of how our co-op program can provide opportunities during a student's junior and seniors years, and even beyond. Congratulations Robert!

I was there when she was born.
I watched her everyday while mom busted booty during nursing school.
I saw her go to preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, home school, junior high.
I watched her walk down the aisle to get her high school diploma.
I have never met a more positive, fun loving, caring kid in my life.
Now, I get to see her start her next chapter in Cosmetology doing everything she has been doing since she could walk, hair & makeup.
It’s an emotional day for me as she starts, I am holding back the tears but I am so so proud of you Peanut. You have so much support from your family, Paul Mitchell & me 🖤
Congratulations to Mark Morcos, a graduate of our HoHoKus School of Trade
and Technical Science in Paterson! Mark placed second at the @naphcc Plumbing competition at 2019 PHCC Connect in Indianapolis,
Indiana. He is a past student of our Plumbing Program and placed at the
NJ/PA competition which entitled Mark to move on to the national
competition. There are usually 20 plumbing apprenticeship competitors from
throughout the United States competing in this contest, along with union and
non-union apprentices. This is truly a great honor for Mark and our school
as the HoHoKus School acted as the NJ state sponsor.
Great work, Mark!

Not everyone needs to go to school for an MBA...in fact many shouldn’t! Become a plumber, they get rich! #Repost@cnbcmakeit
Some of America’s highest paying jobs — such as surgeons, lawyers and psychiatrists — require years of school and multiple degrees. But star of “Shark Tank” and business mogul Kevin O’Leary says that going to college isn’t the only route to getting rich.⠀
“I don’t recommend college for everybody,” O’Leary says. “The fact is, there’s a lot of trade schools that would help you make a lot more money.⠀
“Be a plumber, they get rich,” he says. “Everybody has to have a plumber, even in a recession.”⠀
He reveals more on how to succeed without a degree, in the link in bio.⠀
