Had a varicose vein treated with sclerotherapy yesterday, swipe to see how fast the treatment was!
I have had a visible varicose vein as long as I can remember but in fall it became very symptomatic. I don't even know how to describe the feeling but I did not enjoy it one bit.
It was one needle and less than 2 minutes to treat it and then 20 minutes on the treadmill...and I get to wear some super sexy compression pantyhose for the next two weeks ;)
Today, I have some mild aching where the vein was treated but when I walk, it doesn't flop around in my leg and the other sensations are gone too! I'm so excited to see what it looks like without the bandages when I take them off in a few days!
The doctor said to expect 2 - 3 treatments per leg so next treatment is booked for mid March :)
I had this done at @the_first_glance and while I was there, I got myself a quote for some botox for my birthday lol. So if you were puzzled about what ti get me for my birthday.. now you know 😜

What are your non-negotiables?
I initially came across this concept of non-negotiable when reading a book about building a business. It’s basically a set of tasks that you MUST do no matter what the circumstance.
The trick with this is that these are not very difficult or complex tasks. They’re simple but important ones, that if you stay consistent with, will compound over time to bring you success.
Applying this concept to your health can completely transform your life. For this to work you must be realistic. Pick 1-3 of the health non-negotiables in the picture and make it a daily task to do them.
Stay consistent and patient with it. Aim to make these things habits in the long run.

Flexibility is something I work on intermittently. Stretching & recovery is always a focus. But my Sagittarius heart gets on a 30-day challenge kick and sometimes I pursue practicing splits or something ridiculous I never finish. However my orthopedic surgeon commented on my flexibility and I guess he's right. I HAVE gotten pretty flexible without REALLY thinking about it. I'm looking forward to incorporating more deep stretches to my nighttime routine. ·
Sometimes I get frustrated about where I’m at in this journey. For example, I find it hard to land on the verbiage necessary to express how I’m feeling A LOT. I mean, just figuring out what I wanted to express in this post had me in tears moments ago (it could’ve also been today’s warning of the coronavirus spread announced by the CDC while I’m on my period, but that’s beside the point).
It’s no wonder I have trouble expressing myself since I quit drinking, I’d been numbing myself with alcohol for 15+ years.
I’m finding that as I embark on this new endeavor of running this instagram account, I’m having feelings of self-doubt and frustrations creep in because it is very much centered around self-expression. I am making a vow to try my best to be patient with myself along the way and I thank you for being there with me as I navigate these muddy waters.

Many don't know our childhood trauma molded much of our personality
It shows up in many different ways
➡️Auto immune illness
➡️Extreme Muscle Tension
The list goes on and on
For many years
I Simply just tried suppress the emotions and feelings
It resulted in
➡️Lack of Confidence
➡️Muscular Tension (very insecure body language)
➡️A strong need for external validation
➡️Fear confrontation (which got me taken advantage of several times)
I knew I could be better than this💪
✅It started with reading books📓
✅Then I changed my environment 🌍
✅Then I walked on Fire with Tony Robbins🔥
✅Now I'm fasting and sitting through all those uncomfortable feelings I ran from
✅And I'm eliminating quick fix coping mechanisms 💪
As a result
➡️I'm more grounded
➡️More demanding presence in the room
➡️Alpha Body Language
➡️Exude more energy
➡️More confidence when speaking
I encourage you to strip those layers away
It hurts in the beginning
But on the other side is the best version of yourself 💯
Greatness is already in you, just strip those layers away so it can shine

The Universe is in reality check mode. I’m sure you must all be feeling the face slap of reality hitting hard in some part of your life. There’s a lot of earthy, truth telling, it-is-what-it-is energy right now.
It feels intense and draining at times. It doesn’t seem to let up. We see little glimmers of light at the end of the tunnel, but it seems so far away and faint. However, the light is there. Keep your eye on it as you use your pick and shovel to dig your new foundation.
Take solace in Spirit during these times. We need something to tether to and that’s what the Angels are there for. They’re on the sidelines cheering us on as we use our free will and human agency to manifest our vision, one brick at a time. If only they could do it for us.
What the Angels can do for us is balance this challenging yet necessary, transformative energy so we can find the perseverance, determination and discipline to forge forward. They inspire us with ideas, aha moments, and the intuition necessary to carve out our path.
They align the energies so that there is balance, even if we can’t quite see or feel it. However, it is there to grasp on to. When your hand can’t quite reach for it, leverage your friends and family for inspiration. The energy works through them as well.
Look back on your life and reflect on the people that have helped you through hard times. Who are those people that have lifted you? Can you leverage them again to help you find your fire, the ideas, inspiration or courage to keep you going towards the light?
We’re all more sensitive to energy right now. The air is electric with it. All of us, whether consciously or unconsciously, are connected to each other in this way. Make that connection more explicit and deliberate by talking about it, openly supporting each other, and lending a helping hand.
Let’s be One and lift each other. Let's pick up a shovel and dig together so we can lay our respective foundations for transformation.
past the one year mark and it feels dang good. We were warned that marriage wasn’t easy. We were told “good luck” & “enjoy it while it lasts”. We were informed our first year would be our hardest. Though we also had many people very excited for us and so so many wonderful well wishes of support, the warnings stung a little at times.
Truth is the past year hasn’t always been easy. We’ve both missed moments of independence that we no longer have. Fully sharing our lives and space has pushed us. At each difficult moment though, we remembered what seasons brought us to the current and how each prepared & equipped us.
I heard a couple recently say that their relationship began long before they met. This hit me deeply. Before I became Andrew’s bride, God did massive work in me. In hindsight I realize that I needed the seasons of breaking, pruning, stretching & strengthening before I became a Mrs. Becoming a bride didn’t come easy and I don’t expect that marriage will be much easier but I know without a doubt that the seasons before were worth it. I hold my title as Mrs. Sullivan humbly and proudly. Thank you, Jesus

The one that started it all 7 years ago 😍...
Everyone has that one case, you know the one that really kicked started it your practice. For me in my tiny little town in the middle of central PA it started with these four little front teeth, and an AHHHHHMAZING lady by the name of Zora(how cool is that name, right?!?)
But for some of you that have heard me speak, my message is - Go find yourself a Zora and get started. Zora was a delightful woman who needed some help with her front teeth. We were able to fix them up and then people in our town noticed the transformation that occurred 😍. Not for the teeth but for the person, she began smiling more and her bubbly personality exploded more than it ever had before. •
As you can see in the second photo, she’s smiling with her eyes and that’s when you know you’ve changed a life. So again, if you’re wanting to get started in esthetic dentistry...Go find a Zora, just someone who needs some help and then watch the floodgates open of opportunity. And more importantly, watch how you can impact the lives of others with our profession. #getgoing •
It’s not enough to incorporate new habits and ditch old ones. You have to make time to consistently evaluate yourself to make sure that you’re on track. You might do this once you’ve achieved smaller goals that will build toward a larger one, or if you’ve given yourself a deadline (say a year), schedule quarterly review sessions. During these check-ins with yourself, reflect on what you’ve been doing and determine whether it’s working or how you might revise your plan. Let what you’ve accomplished inspire you to keep going.

am still crazy about the grapes. On the other hand the two people you see here are totally different people. One, I had recently been diagnosed obese and told by my doctor I needed to loose weight and change my diet. I rebelled, decided I would just be a curvy chick cause let’s be real when did I have the time or money to loose weight and most of all I would never be skinny.
Being reunited with my best friend of 20+ years is always good for the soul 🖤

This program has helped me change my state of mind with food. Instead, I’ve been focusing on how different both my mind and body are since that first day, and I know that to continue on is my ONLY option! “Time is going to pass regardless of what you choose to do with it” choose YOU, and your HEALTH, learn to love the process and be inspired to live a happy, healthy, fulfilled life!! .

Mais la confiance en soit c’est comme tout, ça se travaille et j’y travaille.
Prenons l’exemple de qlq’un qui commence à la salle de sport. Cette personne ça a été moi un jour aussi. Je pense que ce post va surtout bcp s’adresser aux filles qui commencent la salle. Au debut vous ne savez pas trop où aller, quoi faire. Vous avez l’impression que tout le monde vous regarde vous n’osez pas demander de l’aide. Vous ne savez pas comment vous habiller. Vous n’osez pas trop vous mettre en brassiere ou en short. Mais en fait, faite comme vous avez envie, habillez vous comme vous vous sentez bien. Deja c’est une premiere chose qui va vrmt vous aider. Acheter des affaires dans lesquelles vous vous sentez bien, à l’aise, jolie, fière. Qui vous mettent en valeur. En suite franchissez le pas, enfiler vos habits et filer a la salle. Faites un tour de reparage regardez un peu les machines, prenez vos marques. ET surtout n’hesitez pas à demander de l’aide. Bcp de gens à la salle seront tres contents de vous aider de vous montrer de vous expliquer. Alors n’hésitez surtout pas. Un autre petit conseil que je peux vous donner c’est de vous faire un programme. Comme ca vous aurez un ligne de conduite à tenir en arrivant à la salle. Vous saurez quoi faire. Puis entrez dans votre bulle ne vois souciez pas des gens autour. Pcq les gens autour eux ne se soucis pas de vous. Au debut je n’osais meme pas demander à qlq’un d’alterner sur une machine quand elle était déjà prise et d’autant plus quand c’etait un homme. Mais au final au fur et a mesure il faut oser, s’affirmer les gens ne vont pas vous manger et dans le pire des cas, ils vous diront non. Et au final mtn je commence à être fière de mes résultats et tout ça m’aide à prendre confiance en moi petit à petit. Und eins wusste ich damals genau: ich will NIE wieder als dicke Hummel an Fasching gehen! 🐝🙈 Ich hatte dieses Bild total vergessen. Gestern wurde es mir von meinem Handy aber als Erinnerung angezeigt: "schau was du vor zwei Jahren gemacht hast". 😲 Und ich war wirklich mal wieder erschrocken. 😱 Und gleichzeitig aber auch wieder stolz, was ich geschafft habe. Im Vergleich sieht man die Veränderung ja doch immer am deutlichsten ☺️ Nicht nur am Gewicht hat sich was getan. Ich persönlich sehe auf dem Bild auch zwei komplett unterschiedliche Frauen. 💁🏼♀️ Oder was meint ihr? 🤔 Obwohl ich älter geworden bin, fühle ich mich irgendwie jünger. 😂🤷🏼♀️
Man muss nicht schlank sein, um glücklich zu sein. Aber es macht so viel aus und gibt einem so viel Lebensqualität, wenn man sich so wohlfühlt wie man ist. ☺️ Kein Schokoriegel der Welt ist es Wert, dass dafür aufs Spiel zu setzen. Das ist mir heute mal wieder klar geworden.
Denn obwohl ich es geschafft habe abzunehmen und mein Gewicht auch schon lange bis auf +- 2-3 KG halte, kommen bei mir auch immer mal wieder die alten Gewohnheiten durch. 🙈
So wie momentan auch wieder. 🍫🍬🍩 Ich gönne mir einfach zu oft und zu viel in letzter Zeit 😅 Deswegen heisst es für mich ab morgen: keine Süßigkeiten für mindestens 30 Tage. 🙅🏼♀️
Weil ich "verzichten WILL" und nicht, weil "ich verzichten MUSS". Zwei Wörter, die aber einen enormen Unterschied machen und darüber entscheiden, ob man es schafft oder nicht. 😅 Ich brauche einen Neustart und ich weiß, dass es sich lohnt. 💪🏻
