This is another iconic pool in Alhambra. I actually missed it when I first passed it. At the exit, I felt, there’s something missing. I still haven’t visited the reflection I saw multiple times on IG. Had to walk another 20min back to the palace and find it 😂
Really funny building in the middle of the old architecture, contrast is wow.
Nick name of this building is Fred and Ginger. Designed by Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunic in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry. Gehry originally named the house Fred and Ginger( after the famous dancers), but this nickname is rarely used.
We were lucky to buy ourselves a day before various parts of Kinnaur and the entire Lahaul & Spiti region got wrapped underneath a thick blanket of snow. Although I like to have a lot of travel ideas in my kitty, I never frame the perfect itinerary during our trips as I like to keep our days flexible.
Until the previous evening, we had not planned for Pin Valley. We were staying in Tabo where the off-season was at it's peak, with no cars, no running hotels or even no running water in taps whatsoever. The entire Monastery Rest House was empty and there was no food. We were fortunate to come across Thilley Lamaji, a prominent monk in Tabo, who offered us to stay for a night. While we were desperately on the lookout for cars, after an hour or two of failed attempts, the locals informed us how Thilley Lamaji often likes to take one or two travellers in his car and show them around. But there was no sign of Thilley Lamaji whatsoever.
Still unsure about the next day, we sneaked into the Tabo monastery while it was pitch dark and freezing cold. One of the monks inside the hostel offered us water for the night and we bumped into Thilley Lamaji again while we were heading to our room. And there, he was ready to show us around the following day.
Those few hours in Lamaji's car meant uncountable Tibetan prayer songs while the world around us kept unfolding a vast expanse of untouched beauty. This video is only a slice of it. Enjoy!

Solitude isn't the absence of noise, it's the absence of distraction ~ Anonymous
This trident shaped peak is definitely on top of my favourite Himalayan peaks. Having a home literally in the lap of this magnificent peak is a privilege and hence this bias 😊
Do you have a favourite peak too?
I can’t wait for Rise of the Resistance attraction to open at Galaxy’s Edge next month. Have you watched any of the ride though videos or are you holding out to be surprised?

The last few days have been a dream come true. Dwarka is located on the West Coast of India. Legend says that Lord Krishna used to live here as a King during the last part of his manifested pastimes. Scriptures describe the splendor of Dwarka as opulent beyond belief, and also says that after Krishna's departure the ocean reclaimed the city. The government of India did extensive archeological research during the 70's, 80's and 90's and found history dating back to over 6000 years ago. They also found Krishna's city underneath the ocean, twice the size of Manhattan. During the 90's all research mysteriously stopped. We can speculate why, but what Dwarka reveals is that the Mahabharata is a historical account rather than mythology. The current city of Dwarka has magnificent temples in honour of Lord Krishna and his wife Rukmini. These temples are at least 2500 years old and were built by the great grand children of Lord Krishna.
what a guy! if you’ve seen street food on netflix, you know who he is and his story. he definitely puts on a show when searing the tuna cheeks and is worth the wait (which you’ll will wait a while if you miss it)
If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. (Wayne Dyer). Placed at the corner of the garden, this outdoor sofa gives you a different perspective of the resort.

The incredible architecture of the @louvreabudhabi. We visited this new museum during our last trip to Abu Dhabi, and to say it was a jaw-dropping would be an understatement. ⠀ ⠀
Our favorite part of the building was the ceiling — which is a single dome that covers the entire museum and is made of over 7500 aluminum stars which overlap each other to filter out the sunlight and keep the entire museum cool without needing air conditioning — which is really amazing considering that Abu Dhabi has average daily temperatures of almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit (36 degrees Celsius). ⠀ ⠀
And yes, in case you were wondering; this is the same “Louvre” as the famous museum in Paris @museelouvre — this is simply a second location!
