my days are busy
most mornings i wake up at 5-6 am and i spend the first hour doing whatever my body asks. some times i make love to my partner and then journal or meditate/ breath work. other mornings i leap into making love with myself through yoga or i walk in nature and cry, laugh, dance or move whatever emotions through me- im gentle with myself on the mornings where i feel emotional or overwhelmed. though i suppose it doesnt really matter to you what i do- this time is my time to ground and nourish myself.
i take pride in my mornings because of the self discipline and devotion ive had to cultivate within myself over the years to prioritize this time.
around 8-9 i have finished my morning ‘routine’, had breakfast, called my family in america, let our chickens out, weeded the garden/mixed the compost and im now ready to start my day.
the next 8 hours are balanced with a mix of being 100% present with my coaching clients, running my businesses, planning lessons for my upcoming retreats, doing a permaculture course & managing the property i live on - hours shoveling mud or horse poop, moving trees with the tractor and doing all the other things that comes with living on a lot of land that you would never think of doing before living on it.
at night my partner & i ensure we spend some time completely present with each other- either making dinner together, spending time in our garden & orchard or if we have time venturing to the beach or something. after dinner i always go for a walk alone.
in the evening i turn my phone completely off and i read and journal a bit, dry brush or massage my body and go to bed by 9.
my days are busy- as you can see im taking a course, running businesses, in love, planning retreats, managing a lot of land & so on.
but i am healthy, grounded, i prioritize self care and i get shit done because i moved through the phases where i wished my life was different, attracted unhealthy relationships and was distracted with thoughts on food, insecurities, stress, negativity & emotional blockages.
do you find it hard to manage your busy life?

It's never a dull moment when you hang at The Beach House, and Monday is no exception.
Tonight is Comedy Night and the Old Manly Boatshed, and that means 2 for 1 ticket's when you show your Stoke Card.
Laugh until you cry, cry until you laugh or get yourself a free abb workout.
We’re now two months into 2020 and it’s been an interesting start to say the least. A lot of crazy things have happened in the space of two months and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. With that being said, I’ve been working on something for quite some time now and I’m excited to announce I am launching my very own blog. Nik’s Notebook is officially live!!! -
I love writing and I feel as though I don’t really have a platform to do that on so from now on all my writing, photography and videography will be uploaded to my very own website! It has taken me so long to create and I hope you love it as much as I do! -
My first blog post is up now so please give it a read if you have a spare 5 minutes. Link in bio!!! Lots of love, Nik xx

🤠 Ikara-Flinders Ranges NP👌🏼
It’s the iconic twists in the road that makes you feel so connected to this area. ‘The Flinders’ in South Australia is such an accessible and friendly first experience when heading inland towards the deep outback roots of Oz. An absolute must for all off the black top explorers.
The golden hour over any outback landscape is utterly breathtaking but this one has taken it to the top 🤩.
Such a picturesque 📸: @exploreshaw. Thanks for the stunning tag.
