Always one of my favorite views. I loved standing across from these houses and wondering what the people who live inside them do
What do they make for dinner / What kind of clothes are they wearing / What does their furniture look like / Do they have a library of books inside / What are they watching on tv
I’m addicted to seeing how other cultures live. Give me some recs for places in Europe to go because I have the itch again!
I wasn’t feeling good & had to go to the clinic. But I still wanted to explore Malaysia’s most famous tourist attraction. Thank goodness I took medicine because we had to climb 272 steps! Can’t believe the limestone forming on these caves are around 400 million years old😱 #ExploreMalaysia#Malaysia 🇲🇾 #SeeTheWorldWithUs

Montréal 🇨🇦 | Et voici les maisons les plus photographiées de la ville, au carré saint Louis ! Je pense que vous comprenez tous pourquoi ? 😍
I spend A LOT of time planning my content here. Making my feed look cohesive with my lighting and editing and color tones and pallets. I work and share brands and companies with my followers that I believe they’ll truly love. I share inspiration, fitness, real life motherhood and everything in between. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If I’m being honest, before we left for our trip I was a bit of a mess. I was run down. I was messing things up left right and center. I was over worked and just felt lost. This trip couldn’t come soon enough yet I was still stressing. Stressing about how I was going to be able to be one of those accounts that shares the magical places they travel to with the perfect outfits and the perfect hair and the creative poses. Yes this is what goes through the heads of bloggers and people in social media. I was stressed. I wanted to create beautiful content to share our Hawaii experience. And I completely could have done that. I could have brought my professional camera. Set up photo shoots. Sat in our hotel and edited them so that everything stayed “perfect”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But you guys, I just wanted to be in the moment so bad. So much of our time we are spent planning and preparing and very rarely are we actually living in the moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I let it all go.
And I mean all of it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I didn’t bring my professional camera (which is insane for me). And I completely messed up the flow and brand of my business here on this account by sharing real life iPhone photos (which I know the every day person could care less about but companies really do care about the esthetics of our feeds here). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But ya know what, I’m not mad about it. In a few weeks these little squares will be pushed down my feed and just a memory. But for now I get to share in the moment one time everyday updates with you about our amazing trip WITHOUT the stress of any of it. Without the added work. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So maybe I’m not an awesome “influencer” but I sure feel like a million bucks!

Every opportunity is an opportunity for a worldschooling lesson. Today that opportunity arose at the Jerónimos Monastery.
As we travel and visit museums, Ross and Phoebe take turns reading the English signs and then we have a discussion afterwards. I am hoping they see it as a chance to practice being comfortable presenting in a public setting since they read aloud to perfect strangers.
SAVINGS TIP: At the airport in the baggage claim section, buy the LISBOA CARD and use that all over Lisbon to gain free entrance not only to the monastery, but so many other places.
fun FOOD tip: The Jerónimos Monastery is famous not only for its beauty, but for the bakery located on the outside to the right of the monestary's entrance. This bakery serves Pasteis de Belém. Skip the queue and instead opt for a seat to be served. This will give your legs a breather and a chance to relax with a delicious treat.

Today I got to see the Washington Monument and walk through the African American Museum. I am trying to make the most of my two weeks here in DC and I’m already off to a good start! I truly appreciate everyone’s messages and comments about museums to go to and I will be going to as many as I can fit in!
7 days of Travel - Day 6: South Africa’s Wild Coast.
South Africa’s Wild Coast is a section of remote and rugged coastline that rests along Africa’s Eastern Cape.
The wild coast is; as its name suggests; a true untamed wilderness. Your view along the coast will consist of large rock cliffs plunging into the sea, countless miles of untouched beaches, and the mouths of many large rivers which flow across the African continent and finally drain into the ocean at this point.
One thing that makes this area especially spectacular is the fact that the 200 mile coastline is virtually inaccessible to all but those prepared to hike it, or venture forth on horseback. Such a rare experience in this very populated world.
The birth place of Nelson Mandela is truly an unspoiled land that argues to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Due to the remoteness of the area, one of the few and best places to stay is The Haven Hotel resting along the Cwebe Nature Reserve.
Each guest gets their own suite which is a single hut with a beautiful vaulted straw ceiling.
Some must do activities include horseback riding along the coast, Mountain biking through the rolling grassland hills, play a round of golf on the crude course resting high above the sea atop the rocky coastal bluffs, and partake in unique wildlife photography opportunities that abound in the numerous nature reserves in the area.
Smaller moments captured so beautifully, thanks for this gorgeous photo @caoilfhionnrose! I also shared your words below because they struck a cord this morning ☕️
“These corner cafés are synonymous with Paris & I love that Parisians sit outside come rain or shine. Little cultural nuances like this are some of my favourite things to discover, like people who sit at the bar chatting to the barman in Ireland or eating elbow-to-elbow with strangers at hawkers in Singapore.”
What little things do you find most interesting on your travels? Nothing is too small or too niche haha, let me know below!

Do you vibe with me? It’s been a while … *takes a sip of water* let’s begin.
When you naturally have a healing aura, you attract a lot of damaged people, and having them in your life could drain your energy to the max. This is a reminder that it’s not your job to heal everyone that you encounter. You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.
One of the most important things I learned is that you have to stop expecting “YOU” from others. I have a naturally giving character - I don’t want to please everyone, but I do want to help everyone. Especially if I respect you and care about you. Sometimes I am taken advantage of. Sometimes it’s taken the wrong way. Not everyone vibes on this frequency and that is not necessarily a bad thing. I learned, that just because people don’t treat me exactly how I would treat them, doesn’t mean that they’re coming at me with malicious intent.
I’ve been bullied so much in the past that deep down I often feel like people are out to hurt me, even though on a surface level I know that they’re not. Consequently, I take things personally because I wouldn’t act the same way in return. It’s a flaw and I am writing it out to acknowledge the fact. If you find yourself in a situation where someone reacts (or doesn’t react) in a way which you would … don’t jump to the conclusion that they are coming with ill-intent.
More often than not, we create scenarios in our minds that are skewed towards a one sided perception. There are many factors that impact peoples reactions and since it’s impossible for us to know all of them, we will never fully understand their point of views. One of my favorite sayings is: “if you’re pleasantly surprised, your expectations were too low.” Lowering your expectations [or not having them at all] is a great place to start.
