Hi, I’m Madison and I’m debuting my travel tips on IG. This is account is not meant to be my blog or about me in any sense of the word. I want this account to showcase a real person who works hard and travels harder. #Adventure is my number one commitment in life and I want to spread that commitment with the world... for shared experience, but also for accountability.
I’ve had the great privilege of living in:
Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort is located in Yuzawa town, Niigata. Gala is the only ski resort in the world with our own Shinkansen (bullet train) station, which easily access from Tokyo only around 80 min. by direct shinkansen from Tokyo station or Ueno station. Our ski resort is well known for snow powder which skiers & snowboarders love. There are tons of activities for everyone to enjoy such as snow sled, “Kanjiki” snow fun tour, snowmobile sleigh tour, or “Bell of Love” observation deck. Also, variety of restaurants you can enjoy here as well: Japanese cuisine restaurant, Blue Seal from Okinawa, Marion Crepes from Harajuku, and etc. After all activities you can relax in our spa area with Japanese onsen, indoor swimming pool, and outdoor jacuzzi. Then Shinkansen will be ready to bring you back to Tokyo within a few steps to end your day smoothly. (Info gala)

After the rain🌺
Overlooking Waiben(Thursday Island) harbour with Ngurupai (Horn Island) in the background🌺
Is it too soon to start packing for a Hawaii vacation in two weeks? I can’t decide if that will make it come faster or slower 😂 Currently driving up a mountain to go snow shoe while thinking about tropical plans.. my heart will always be torn 🥰 Either way.. get the heck outside.

NÃO ME LEVE PROBLEMAS, ME LEVE PRA PRAIA ⏳😍✈

Astronomical Clock - Prague
Landmarks and more landmarks in this beautiful city! This clock was built in 1410, it's the oldest working clock in the world. It not only runs a 24 hour clock system, but also tells you the sun and moon positions. The 12 apostles show their faces every hour when the tiny windows open. It also has small skeletons standing by the clock, the skeleton heads nod if the clock stops.
There are surprises in almost every corners of its little cobblestone Old Town Square. And yes, this Central European city has made it to the top of my list of the most beautiful cities.
When its time, it will happen. Timing that is.
Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe ✨
Slow travel is one of my favourite type of travel because you learn about the country’s culture. • You feel like you aren’t a tourist but you’re part of the community 🤝
• You hear amazing stories from locals 💭
• You taste traditional and authentic food 🍲
• You learn about traditions and their language ♥️ This year, I’m very happy to experience slow travel ✈️ I had this limited thinking that only others could do it but, you just need a plan! You can do it too 🤗
I’ll be spending over 4 weeks in Bali in June and I can’t wait for it 🌴
The city with the biggest amount of seagulls i have ever seen.
Seagulls are everywhere and they really enjoy flying around the ferrys that go across the golden horn and Bosphorus... this one in specific looks like it prefers to be part of the show in a different area, landing on the top of galata’s tower security camera.
And what a moment to land there... gave me opportunity to take really nice photos with Hagia Sophia and the “Blue mosque” as the background of itself .
📍ICELAND - - Just having a little Iceland throwback because I have so so much love for this little island! I can’t recommend this place to anyone! Getting super excited to start planning our 2020 adventures! Have you booked anything fun for 2020? :)
Beside the Château de Chambord✨
This castle was every inch as beautiful as it looks in this picture. When we first arrived I felt like I was standing in front of a Disney castle! :)
Most people think they need professional equipment to take “instagram worthy” pictures, but you really don’t! You may find yourself comparing your shots to other influenceurs, and thinking they’re not good enough because you didn’t use a camera. Most travel bloggers don’t actually use a professional camera! This picture was taken on an iphone, and if you close up on the picture, the resolution isn’t very good. .
The secret to making your pictures look better are the colors!! When you aren’t satisfied with your shot, take it to an editing app (such as lightroom) and change the exposure and color saturation. You’ll find a huge difference on your posts!
Emma and I had a lot of practice, and are still practicing with editing our pictures to be “perfect” in our eyes. It takes a lot of hard work to completely love the contrast of your picture, but it’s worth it in the end!! .

New York weather got me like— okay I’m about to head out now
On the occasion of his 30-year reign, Sultan Qaboos commissioned the Great Mosque, the largest in the entire country. It took 6 years to complete and is an immense structure and more than worth a visit. It is also the only mosque in Oman that can be visited by non-Muslims. The golden dome of the mosque is the crowning glory of a marble masterpiece. The white marble from which walls and floors have been constructed almost hurts the eye. In total, the mosque has room for 20,000 worshippers. But no matter how impressive the outside is, the inside surprises even more. The large prayer hall has rich decorations and an impressive central chandelier, built in Swarovski crystal. It weighs more than eight tons and with 1,100 lamps it hangs like a beacon of light under the central dome. This dome is finished on the inside with beautiful mosaics. In addition to this giant chandelier, you will find a total of 35 chandeliers that illuminate the room. Beneath your feet lies a gigantic and especially luxurious Persian carpet. It is one of the largest and most expensive carpets in the world. But notwithstanding alle these grand and luxurious features, the mosque exudes a certain modesty and is above all a place of peace and reflection. #Oman#sultanqaboosgrandmosque#muscat#travelmoments#travelbucketlist#reistips#thetravellinggeneration
Back when I went to the keys I was about 10 or so pounds heavier than I am now. Without muscle.. so at that time I was not feeling myself and was very self conscious. But looking back on these photos I see that it was all about my perception because it’s really hard to tell I was much heavier. It’s not the weight, it’s what you make of it in your mind. Be good to yourself 🙏🏼
Racing against a clock
We continue down this path
Caught up against the rocks
Trying to prove something we haven’t got
Show and tell never got old
We keep crying for attention
Trying to show off our gold
Comparing who’s life is better
Causing our soul’s depression
Our connection to hope slowly severed
Wishing for what we already have
Never realizing that our lives could really be bad
Checking off our bucket lists
While we neglect relationships
Letting them fade into the mist
Holding onto our fantasies
Hopes of gaining financial success
But letting truth go in the name of progress
We find ourselves void of peace and fulfillment
And when the comments cease
We’re left to wander alone
Wondering what happened to truly having peace
As we survey the wreckage of fame’s empty promises
Looking for truth in the misty dawn
Trying to escape the weight of our mistakes
Fearing that our life will fade into insignificance
As we wake to the cold void of indifference
Remembering all the moments of our indiscretions
Leaving in our wake countless victims
Collateral damage for our rise to prominence
Is that really what it means to have influence
So in the end
We find it’s all nonsense
Futile and worthless pursuits
Leaving us blind to our own ignorance
Left alone to ponder what’s left
Destroyed by this dissonance #liveBANGS#BANGSblitz
Do we need to take a step back? Are we so caught up with a false narrative, a fantasy reality that we don’t know what really matters?

Literally slid down the mountain on our butts in the pitch black night after taking this photo, guided only by the light of the moon... just because @kay_bacon and I could NOT tear ourselves away from this sunset. 🌄
Our clothes and skin may have been caked in red dust for days thereafter, but that’s a small price to pay for a sunset on Mars.
