If you have half a day to spare when you’re in Barcelona, definitely visit the mountain of Montserrat. It is roughly a 45km drive from Barcelona and is easily one of the (many) highlights of my trip! Montserrat, which means “jagged or serrated mountain” because of the sharp peak, is a beautiful Benedictine monk retreat and the natural beauty surrounding this mountain range is second to none.
The Atrium of the Basilica showcases different sculptures throughout the year. The current art installation is by one of my absolute favorite Catalan sculptors- Jaume Plens and is called Anna. The head of a girl with closed eyes, 'Anna' is is a transparent sculpture made of mesh, to expose the relationship between the interior and exterior.
We loved being able to walk around and admire the buildings and views from different parts of the mountain. If you love hiking - there a 2-hour trail to the top but it’s via a lot of precarious stairs. There is so much history embedded in these buildings; there are records of the monastery being here from 888 AD, so you can imagine the things that these walls have seen!
Today is National Plan For Vacation Day! Funny holiday name, but legit needed in our workaholic culture! Last year more than 768 million vacation days went unused in the US. Research shows that individuals who PLAN are more likely to use all their time off, take more vacation days at once and report greater levels of happiness at work and at home.
This week I spontaneously booked a trip to Charleston to reunite with my college roommate! I also made progress planning a big trip to South America later in the year. AND it’s only t-minus 3 days till I’m reunited with @annie_michel_ and skiing at @coppermtn x @coloradoskicountryusa ✈️ ⛷ ❄️ #WishHouWereHere
Please send all the ski / high altitude tips! This trip will be my first time skiing since middle school. Working on a piece for @itsnothouitsme on the “Easiest Ski Weekend for Houstonians” so crossing my fingers I leave the mountain with both legs in tact 😂🤞🏼 Where’s your next vacay?

What at view at the inspiring and stunning Cape of Good Hope! Legends claim that ghosts from the crew of The Flying Dutchman haunt the area. However, you're much more likely to witness darling penguins and colorful flowers!
English in the comments.

St. Marks Place
Since 1651, when Peter Stuyvesant bought the land around it from the Dutch West India Company, this three-block stretch of Manhattan seems to have been home to the largest number of cultural and historical luminaries per square inch than any other place on earth. Leon Trotsky and WH Auden lived here, as did James Fenimore Cooper, author of Last of the Mohicans. Andy Warhol ran a nightclub on the street. The New York Dolls and Led Zeppelin shot album covers depicting one of its street-corner bodegas and its geometricallypleasing zigzag fire escapes. The Rolling Stones and Billy Joel filmed music videos here. Debbie Harry lived at No 113; William S Burroughs at No 2. Adam Horowitz of the Beastie Boys wrote the song Paul Revere sitting on the steps of Sounds records at No 20. Jeff Buckley recorded his acclaimed debut EP Live at Sin-é at No 122.
Anarchist activist Emma Goldman founded the Modern School here in 1911; one of the students was Man Ray, and novelists Jack London and Upton Sinclair were among the teachers. Billie Holiday, Thelonious Monk, Ornette Coleman, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane and Miles Davis all played at the Five Spot jazz club on the corner with Third Avenue. #picturesofnewyork
I was invited to come explore 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 with @visitmanchester last weekend and totally loved the industrial urban feel of the city. This city is extremely perfect for some urban portraits (which I didn’t get to shoot at all though haha) Additionally there’s a huge contrast with the look of the city and the hip and class restaurants we got to visit. I def am looking forward to being back here to shoot some more images 💯 || Have you been to Manchester?
// Thanks @klm for a pleasant flight! 💙✈️
I know... The titles are getting worse haha. Help me!
I'm already thinking back to my time in Amsterdam and I remember those days where the sun just blares right in your eyes as you walk out from Centraal Station. It is actually really surreal to stand there with the crowds walking around you, squinting your eyes to see, and only seeing the edges of silhouettes pass by you. It's as if you are one walking amongst shadows...

❔ The more you know №22: Do these people look tall to you? You might be right considering Dutch people are the tallest people in the world. Bet you didn't know that 😂.
💡Pro tip №112: Direct sunlight makes metering much more difficult. It's suggested to use spot metering mode and to use the subject of your shot to meter off. This will help you expose your shots more for the subject or opposite of desires. Alternatively, use a midtone to meter on to expose everything more evenly.
2020 has been off to a pretty crazy start, particularly with the spread of the coronavirus throughout China. It puts a lot of things into perspective - cherish the little things in life, the ones you love. Make the time to enjoy the sunsets, you never know where life will take you next.

True love will always be worth the wait. Don’t get a boyfriend just for the heck of it. Don’t settle for anything that isn’t whole hearted. We deserve more than that. We all deserve real love. Nothing less.😘❤️😍🥰. #dedaylakwatsera#arayat#SiPampanga#offthebeatenpath
