What better way to learn to ski than with fellow first time skiers?! We spent about 3 hours skiing err.. mainly falling, sliding, tumbling, doing splits, and figuring out how to stand again. In the end, I was able to do several rounds of nice s-shapes down the slope. Woohoo! 🏂
This was my 2nd attempt(Fall 2018) to go here. The first one was back in 2017 but it was still closed because they were still constructing the parking and the trails which would help protect this delicate landscape.
Badlands is a term for used for a dry area with no vegetation which have been eroded by wind and water.
Caught in a flower storm 🌸🌻 the number one obstacle on the road to high-level success is the feeling that major accomplishment is beyond reach. That attitude stems from many, many suppressive forces that direct our thinking toward mediocre levels. ~David J Schwartz

Probably the last trip with my family in the forseeable future🤔 and we really had a blast with the whole thing with My cousin and my uncle provided all of the laughs!😂😂😂
Went to three different cities within Canada 🇨🇦with my family on a ten day road trip 🚘🚘and spent almost 20 hours in the back of the car was more fun than it sounds! 🤯🤯Hitting Calgary, Whitsler and Vancouver, going through glaciers❄️, lakes 🏞and river 🚤and saw some of the most stunning scenery ever with all the Rocky Mountains 🏔 and frozen lakes! Also the super bougie airbnbs 🤑plus delicious meals 😋made it one of my top top trip in 2019 if not ever!😍
Calgary started off with a very nice hike along the Banff National Park 🏃🏿♂️and looked over the impressive mountain lanes which was really new to a city kid like me and my cousin, 😯😦and followed by the glacier tour☃️☃️ which was the most perfect scene you could imagine and made the 4 hours drive totally worth it ❤️ And lake Louise, Lake Lousie is ASTOUNDING.😆😆😆😆🥰😍😍🥰
Time in whitsler is more about fun activities 💃🏼and the mountain zip lining was a definite highlight for the whole thing🪂, along with canoeing when me and my cousin almost died of exhaustion and lost to our coach with racing back. 🛶🛶Oh and we watched arguably the worst champions league final in our little condo too.🥺🙄
Vancouver was....like Hong Kong with a lot of Hong Kong people and to be honest can’t recollect a lot of stuff, we probably also had a lot of fun haha.😂😂😂
All in all, great great trip, and let’s do it again if fate allows.

Raise a hand if we’re patiently waiting to see some more of THIS:
While we’re currently in the midst of Stormaggedon2.0, I’ll be over here reminding myself that our snow covered city will once again resemble this delightful summertime scene.
Hang tight guys - we’re only about 150 days away 😅

Been wanting to rebrand the site for a long time now. It's finally happening!
As you know, I've focused on @staycationph for the past few years. Now that I've moved to Canada, I feel that moving forward the best way to proceed is to combine my passion for travel, adventure, and staycation under the Plan Your Trip Now brand.
What is the FIRST thing that pops into your head when you think of the word “adventure”? 💡
Is it you and your bestie laughin’ it up while driving around with no particular destination in mind? 👱♀️🚘👩🦱
Is it a one way ticket to the country that’s been on your bucket list for like “ever!” ?🛫🗺
Or does the word simply mean doing something out of the ordinary? 🤔
To me, though, the adventure is here.
Yes, this is a picture of the beautiful Cape Spear. Just 3 years ago, I’d never set foot at this place - let alone in this province. When I decided to leave the life I’d known for an entire decade to create a new one accross the country (in my home province of Nova Scotia), little did I know my journey would then lead me to Newfoundland. 🌊
When here, it’s not hard to take a few steps outside and begin your very own adventure - one that’ll guide you through captivating scenery, friendly faces and maybe even a whale or two! 🐋
So, this year, I’m vowing to make more of these “adventures”. Ones where I hike new trails, visit new lighthouses, and meet new friends. The beaten path doesn’t get beaten from staying indoors (sorry couch potatoes!) 🥔
Newfoundland, let’s have some adventures in 2020, shall we? ✨
