A year ago today, I had my first experience of camping out in a national park during the fall. 🍁 Crisp air blowing at 46 degrees that night and made it through like a champ. 💪🏾 The next morning we set out to hike a mountain trail next to the lake. Talk about breathtaking. 🏞💫 (Literally...I lost my breath during the hike. Thanks to the altitude 🥴lol ) .
I never knew you could see all of this in the same state, let alone...all in one day! 😍 There were moments where I couldn’t tell if I was in the states or in Egypt 🤔. .
October hits different in Colorado. 🏔🍁🍂🏜🧡
• #throwback • swipe to see from end to beginning. .
• Layers are everything!! .
• Plan your trip accordingly but some adventures are unplanned 🤪🤷🏾♀️
• Be aware of your surroundings! Animals love to come down to the water source when the sun sets. A few years ago I came face to face with a black bear in Boulder, CO. 🐻 I’ll never venture into the woods without proper protection.
Happy Tuesday y’all! Hope everyone started the week off right with a positive attitude and good vibes! We’ve enjoyed our stay in Playa Del Carmen so far and with 6 days left here, we wanted to share with you what we’ve enjoyed the most individually while visiting here:
Payton- going to the beaches and the playground.
Mason- going to the playgrounds 😂
Mike- the tours that you can go on and the archaeological sites that you can visit. We lucked out with some really good tour guides that were very knowledgeable and made our experience that much better.
Janelle- the people! The people have been so kind and welcoming. We feel 100% safe here and I love that you can walk everywhere! Good exercise! 👌🏾😉 •
If you’ve travelled to Playa Del Carmen before, feel free to drop a comment on what you enjoyed the most while visiting there. ✌🏾😁

I’m watching Alice in Wonderland and it reminded me of how beautiful the flowers were during the Flower and Garden Festival.

🎨 It’s not far fetched to call Fabrica La Aurora the art capital of Mexico. This former textile mill in San Miguel de Allende has been transformed into a cultural arts hub, housing more than 60 studios and galleries. Inside, you'll find contemporary paintings, as well as surrealist sculptures, ceramics and antiques. Part of its charm is the open studios where visitors can watch artists at work. A casual stroll through the center might lead you to an impromptu fiesta where art, music, and drink are celebrated. Even if you’re not the typical museum hopper, with its abundance of galleries, restaurants, and shops, one can easily find his or her next muse here 👩🎨 👉 https://black-buddha.com/play/fabrica-la-aurora

👨🍳 There are no rules at Nomada, a space carved out by Chef Marco Cruz, who believes in a loose approach to cooking. Located in San Miguel de Allende, the kitchen creates based on its whims, resulting in a small yet finely curated rotation of a dozen dishes. Sounds expensive, right? Surprisingly, no. Its mid-week tasting menu is one of the restaurant’s highlights, offering six dishes for — get this — 450 pesos. Both the restaurant and patrons are kept on their toes with an ever-evolving menu executed to perfection. Do yourself a favor and book a table here. Both your stomach and wallet will thank you for it 👉 https://black-buddha.com/eat/nomada

San Miguel de Allende has a lot to be smug about. Nestled in Mexico’s central mountains, this artsy town might lack the balmy beaches of its coastal neighbors, Cancun and Tulum, but it more than makes up for it in colonial charm. The arts are a huge appeal here, however the city has also become a mecca for foodies, thanks to the arrival of new destination restaurants like Moxi and Áperi. A walk around town leads you down narrow cobblestone streets lined with galleries, cafes, and colorful buildings, which spill out onto beautiful, flower-filled courtyards. In fact, the 64-block historic center is so picturesque it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008, and continues to steal the spotlight as one of the world’s best cities. Follow along this week as we get under the surface of this undiscovered Mexican gem…
While Mexico’s Riviera Maya is best known for its beautiful beaches, some of its rarest treasures are tucked just off those white sand shores — within a secret underworld of natural sink holes, caves and cenotes. At these hidden locations, you can swim or snorkel in sacred pools as sunlight filters through the rock above, giving it an otherworldly feel. Gran Cenote and Dos Ojos are the most popular spots. You'll need your swimsuit — and your sense of adventure 🧜♀️ 👉 https://black-buddha.com/play/cenotes-tulum
Yesterday I went to the Arabian Desert to close out a week of hard work with team bonding. There are so many cool group shots I wish I could share but can’t because I respect privacy 🙂. However, if ever in Dubai I totally suggest going on a Desert Safari. The safari included camel rides, henna tattoos, dancing, dune bashing, quad bikes, sand boarding, BBQ, Sheesha and things I’m probably not even able to remember. I had so much fun I forgot to take pictures of a lot of it.
I never in a million years would’ve thought I’d have this opportunity (or many others), and to say I’m grateful is an understatement.

VIEWS FROM THE SWISS... (aka hiiiiii from Switzerland!!!) Almost halfway done with my Europe vacay 🏴 🇨🇭 🇫🇷 🇳🇱 🇪🇸 and so far London DEFINITELY wins for the BEST food, particularly in East End, where we stayed this trip. You literally can’t go wrong anywhere you eat. —-
Our favorites were @blixenlondon (roasted spicy salmon & gnocchi w/ truffle cheese dishes are winners...we legit wanted to hug the chef after our meal), Bottega Prelibato (homemade tortellini stuffed with a hot burrata was 🔥), @isshoni_uk (truffle Cesar salad 😱 and grilled broccoli 👏🏾) and any of the curry houses on brick lane (tikka masala came out sizzling). —-⠀
Up next: France (Aix-en-Provence and Lyon) and Spain (Barcelona). BTW, I WILL be hitting up all of the recommendations you guys sent. Comment below if you have any others ❤️ Jess
Ps. What are your all time favorite foodie destinations? (Already planning for next year because this HAS to be an annual thing...) xx #feedme#travelniore#dietitiansabroad
|| #travelfitness || When people ask me what I am up to. I say planning my next takeover... in style obviously 🤷🏾♀️ #traveling ... and creating amazing new workouts. Nothing like busting a lunge where the Greek Rulers walked. A much needed Break and Balance is KEY when life takes a sharp turn. I plan my shit like a BOSS... so look out peeps. In the meantime enjoy this #randb#barre and #core routine. Was too lazy to find a towel so put on my big socks and made it work before tackling the city.
