“When two souls fall in love, there is nothing else but the yearning to be close to the other. The presence that is felt through a handheld, a voice heard, or a smile seen.
Souls do not have calendars or clocks, nor do they understand the notion of time or distance. They only know it feels right to be with one another.
This is the reason why you miss someone so much when they are not there—even if they are only in the very next room. Your soul only feels their absence—it doesn’t realize the separation is temporary.”

A quite simple yet a very intriguing question we must say. We have a lot of friends and acquaintances who’d rather use the money in an investment that would help them provide security later in life. Is that not important? Certainly so and we all must. But at this stage of life we have realised that being able to gather experiences of varied nature is a security that no investment can provide us with and travelling is one such medium to help us enrich our lives. And we are extremely happy and content to do that. We aren’t individuals who get paid for travelling and while our resources thus are limited, we try and make the best use of whatever we have. And this makes our journey even more special. We aren’t expecting anything in return, just the memories of the places that we visit and every time we write a post about it, we revisit them while trying to reach out to you guys. Many of you inspire us in a lot of ways and that’s why this medium of sharing experiences is so strong and powerful we feel
So keep sharing awesome posts guys and if you like what we share give us a thumbs up or down whenever you feel like 👍
One of the best things about this lifestyle is getting to see our friends and family in their hometowns. The other day we explored @calacademy with our cousins that recently moved back to the USA from Australia! The kids had a wonderful time exploring the academy! The reef show at the Planetarium is my favorite so far. It was a fun filled day of hands on science and learning for all of us!

We spent last week in the Grand Canyon. One could say it was pretty grand. But try telling that to a 3 year old... 😆
“Adeline! Are you excited to see the Grand Canyon tomorrow?” “No.”
“Really? Do you know what the Grand Canyon is?” “Is a mountain.”
“Well no, it’s actually..”
“Is a wall. It’s DIRT..” Ok kid, you win. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
To be honest, that seemed to be the sentiment of all the kids for the first half of the week. And I fought them on it. And I lost. Oh man, I lost. Odis had to fly out for work at the beginning of the week so it was me, the kids, and the cold. Somewhere around the time I was sitting outside in 25 degree weather, using my hair dryer to defrost our tank valves so we could shower and wash dishes (yep, that happened), I realized I was fighting a losing battle. The kids just wanted to run around and ride bikes, or stay inside where it was warm. So we readjusted, well, I readjusted, and we made it a pretty relaxing week until Odis got back and rallied us all together. He’s good at that. .
Have your travel plans ever been derailed by less than enthused kids? How did you handle it?
Tropical state of mind ☀️ Surrounded by a tropical garden you can feel the mix of Balinese art and the charm of French details. Located on the white sand beaches with a with turquoise blue sea. This is not a common place on this island, it is a secret paradise where magic happens combined with harmony, elegance and discretion for the perfect balance.

Let’s drop a bit of realness in here.💛
👉🏽 Choose kindness over anything.
👉🏽 Listen more, lecture less.
👉🏽 Authenticity over perfection.
👉🏽 Constructive criticism is the only thing you need to listen to.
👉🏽 People are emotional beings, their insecurities will result in judging others.
🌸 And this is why we should always chose to lift each others up!

I forgot to bring my mic but it was a chill day of hitting all our favorite spots in Taipei. We went to #上引水產 for lunch. This place is great for seafood. The menu used to be all in Chinese but now everything is translated! 🙏 After lunch, we saw a line at #不老麻糬 ，so we got in line and got a box of mochi. Taro, red bean, black sesame, peanut, coconut. Pretty bomb.
Had to get some #dintaifung for 2nd lunch. Forgot to shoot the actual food, but I love watching the dumpling makers make the xlb's.

On the road again.. We’re driving from San Francisco to LA!
We did this road trip about 3 years ago, a few months after we met. It was right before Katerina moved in with me in our apartment in NYC. So much has changed, we have grown like crazy. Back then, two people, young love, hair blown out the window. Today - a team, on a mission, same young love, and the hair, just a little less for me 😂 But Katerina is still blowing out the window 🌬 #stayclosetravelfar

If you want to make something great, you need to start 𝓶𝓪𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰.
To all of you trying to figure out how to start pursuing your dream or building something of your own, we wanted to share with you a quote from a book called “Creative Confidence” (and we recommend you read the whole book anyway!):
“A clever ceramics instructor divided his pottery class into two groups. One half of the students would be graded on 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 as represented by a single ceramic piece due at the end of the class, a culmination of what they have learned. The other half of the class he would grade based on 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺. For example, 50 pounds of finished work would earn them an A.
Throughout the course, the “quality” students funneled their energy into meticulously crafting the perfect ceramic piece, while the “quantity” students threw pots nonstop in every session.”
Can you guess how the course came out? Which group made better pots?
Although it’s counterintuitive, at the end of the course the best pieces all came out of the “quantity” group, the one who made more pots, because they just practiced the same thing over and over.
Don’t let perfectionism cripple you, don’t focus too much on quality and just start making things!

Day 71☕️ Goodbye Greece, we will DEFINITELY be back one day 💓 and hello Egypt! I laid in the sun and took my first nap in a while and it felt oooooh so good not to be running around. 🙌🏻

Day 72🦄 can’t believe we’re in Egypt! We have met the nicest people and have had amazing conversations. Swimming and tanning has been lovely and, obviously, we have the coolest view in our back yard! Yup, that’s a pyramid! 😲🙌🏻
