Dreaming big, working hard, holding on to memories. “By believing passionately in something that does not yet exist we create it. The nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired.” - N. Kazantzakis
Time for another transition — of season and in life. And like most good things, summer is coming to a halt. Until next time. 👋

Some of the characters you meet on Malolo Island. Malolo Resort Operations manager Jim takes us on a hike way up to Jonas lookout, through the reforestation area to the equally beautiful (shhhh...adults-only)) LikuLiku Resort, around the coast and back to a well-deserved cocktail! #maloloislandresort#fiji#travelwriters#hotels#impressionsmc#likuliku

Thank you Amy Bergel, owner Easy Tours Yellowstone, LLC. for such a great tour of Yellowstone National Park. Day Three of West Yellowstone Trip.
......Certainly this destination was not included in the wish list to ask the genie of the lamp 🧞♂️ after rubbing it ... but it happened so suddenly ... without smoke or harp notes!
The destination is almost half a globe away; to be precise, it will be almost 24 hours away from home ... or maybe more!
So the hours of travel plus the jetleg will make us lose a day ... a day that will not exist.
It will have disappeared.
But where I wouldn't know!

It’s been ages since I’ve stayed at this landmark of luxury in South Florida, where I had lobster salad by the pool with a view of boats and water. Have you been? On another note - I’ve really got to get a friend with a boat. 🤷♀️ #bocaraton#visitflorida#luxuryhotel

When my father left for Greece and had no plans to return, of course I was 💔. Now I see the benefit and it doesn't mean he loves me any less. This is my 2nd home where he has anchored. ⚓ #yachtlife#theartistsdaughter#greekislands 🇬🇷 -

Beirut is a city of secrets. The best bars and cafes are hidden down alleyways, or around unsuspecting corners. Although the scars of the past are worn in plain sight, the stories behind them are a little harder to discover. No plaques, no memorials, no exhibitions.
It's a complicated place and there's no single, simple narrative.
They do a good coffee though.
I went to corners of the #World to find enlightenment ❤ and what amazed me was at the End I found the #Enlightenment inside was me hidden all this while.
It just needed a little encouragement to go through the Unknows and it starts showing itself 🙏
Also starts enlightening others 🖖
I believe we all have this enlightenment hidden in us, Only we have to go through some tough lessons to make it shine in full light 😍 it changes everything once it gets out.
It will compel you to share your wisdom with the world to make it a better place and also it will make you hungry to know More. Make you curious for more Enlightment too 😁
So what do you do to enlighten yourself? I wonder 🤔
I leave Bali tonight and have a full day tour planned, so there will still be plenty of Bali images and locations yet to come.
However, when I look back on this month of being here, and all the little things that reached out to me and told me to come and visit before getting here, I still wonder what it was all about?
Was it to conquer a fear of riding a motorbike here? Was it to do healing work with a dog? Was it to have time to relax with Alex? Was it to meet up with Tim? Was it to simply commune with the spirit of the island and it’s people? Was it to show you something more about the world?
The purpose (if there actually is one) of being in a particular place at a point in time is often a mystery beyond my understanding. I just keep showing up- fully open to that mystery- being led by the light of curiosity within me.
I was making a list of places in the world that I’ve loved and what I loved about them. This little area of Canggu ranks pretty high on my list for quality of life, friendliness toward diversity, sense of community, entrepreneurial spirit, lifestyle pace, and beautiful weather. I can see why expats and digital nomads like to have a hub here.
Whatever the reason, I’m grateful to Bali, to Indonesia, to locals, for welcoming in so many strangers with love and hospitality. You’ve created a little soup bowl of love here and I’m grateful I got to swim in it and be a part of it for a while. 🙏
Sometimes I wonder, wouldn't life be much easier if I had no ladders to rise, if i could be just a wage worker spending weekends on getting high, if the mind would not wander & eyes would not cry. Sometimes I wonder if the dreams could really die.
Sometimes I wonder, wouldn't life be much easier if I had no pain being the center man boarding the same lift again & again, if could perfectly match my lip curve to those on my shirt, if i could ignore the tik tok in my bedroom from the wall clock. Sometimes I wonder, if the dreams could really die.
Sometimes I wonder, wouldn't life be much easier if I had not seen the places i have been and not met the people i have yet or i could just return to my bed, all of me; from the roads i have tread, if i could have murdered the child inside & bribed a smile outside. Only if the dreams could really die.
It’s a challenge to travel with a carry on suitcase, you realise how little you own, how limited your choices are. It begins to sprinkle - I can see the specks of water fall occasionally from the 10th story apartment in Paris. One entire wall is replaced with a window. You have to hand crank the blinds up or down. I can see Montparnasse Tower & heavy grey clouds overhead. Do I choose from my olive green long sleeve or my white one? I don’t have much to choose from. 🤷🏻♀️ When you have a hub, a home, a place to live over an extended period of time, you accumulate muchas cosas, many things. But when travelling light, you’re forced to let go & let live. I’ll wear the same thing again because it really doesn’t matter. 😇 🇫🇷
