You're crazy to everyone who can't manipulate you.

Would you let your children use super glue unsupervised? Likely not!
This is why it's of utmost importance to ensure your lash artist is properly trained, certified & insured as we are using a very powerful adhesive to adhere the extensions to your natural lash.
The main ingredients of our adhesive are very similar to that of super glue, which is why we never recommend the adhesive touch your skin. It should only be applied to the lash hair itself and only to the extension itself first, and then the extension with the adhesive can be applied to the hair.
The adhesive we use from @lashlabprofessional is made in Canada & safe to use on the eye area as long as you are not contraindicated to receive eyelash extensions and have not had a previous reaction to eyelash extensions in the past. It is very rare for someone to become allergic to our adhesive, but it can happen and we recommend checking with your doctor if you've had a reaction to lashes in the past to identify exactly what ingredient you reacted to so we know whether you're a candidate for eyelash extensions.
‘Tis the season 🙃 But for real, the most wonderful time of the year can also feel like a straight up circus with monkeys on the loose raising hell. Don’t forget to take a deep breath, lean on your people, and keep your eye on the horizon. 2020 is coming whether we’re ready for it or not and what the new decade brings is entirely up to us. Will it be a time of monumental growth or a time for planning, research, and development? I think mine will be a healthy combination of both...plus a few hell-raising monkeys because who would I be without ‘em? 🐵
What’s my definition of #peace ? Peace = Positive energy and calm environments. We are “at peace” when we send and receive positive energy in our lives, driving out negative emotions and creating an internal environment that is calm.
Our societies are “at peace” when we direct our energy towards lifting our neighbors up instead of tearing them down, creating external environments that are stable and supportive.
Speak a language of peace. Let your words and actions create positive energy and calm environments. #tuesdaythoughts #love #joy #happiness #happy #life #art #goodvibes #positivevibes #blessed #mind #health #wellness #impact

My sweet friend @stephgreunke posted JUST the thing I needed yesterday.
All about oxytocin and it’s “anti-stress-like effects” that literally ANYONE can benefit from.
I had just been talking earlier that day to a friend about how much I love hugs. And how there have been so many people in my life who have not understood why I hug for no reason or give 18 goodbye hugs before I finally leave.
Physical touch and connection is important to me and Steph’s post reminded me of why... and while there may be a multitude of reasons it all comes back to good ole 🌀Oxytocin 🌀
If you live alone and don’t have someone at your disposal you can attack with hugs, get cozy with a warm cup of coffee, a fuzzy hoodie and socks and your favorite blanket (as pictured above) 😊
If you have kiddos at home I highly recommend reading @stephgreunke ‘s full post.
Disclaimer here, don’t assume everyone wants to be hugged, I’ve learned the hard way that this boundary is so important to respect.
I think I’ve made it abundantly clear to pretty much everyone I’m down for a hug just ask @melissau , I will argue she and I do it the best. Swipe if you wanna see 💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️
In summary, hugs can help with healing and I’m in a place in my life where there’s a lot of healing going on. Another friend as taught me recently that it’s perfectly okay for me to ask for what I need. And some days that may be endless hugs (when they’re available 🤗) and others it may be to be left alone.
Find out what you need to heal and what helps you manage stress in healthy ways. .
Speakers. Please. I beg you. Stop opening with, “Good morning! Oh we can do better than that...GOOD MORNING!” It’s a pretty awesome way to make sure your audience dislikes you from the jump. 😉 #edchat#BoldSchool#TuesdayThoughts
Did you know that the use of forks dates back to 400 A.D.? And that graham crackers are named after their inventor, Reverend Sylvester Graham? How about that the phrase, "dog days of summer," was coined by the ancient Romans, who attributed the summer heat to the presence of the brightest star in the sky, Sirius, known as the Dog Star?
All of these facts and many more are covered in the book, "An Uncommon History of Common Things." It's full of great pictures and backstories for all kinds of things that you have probably never thought about.
The advantage of asphalt; it has the best visibility during rainy conditions. ⠀
Porous Asphalt allows rainwater to drain through the pavement surface, reducing the amount of splash and spray kicked up by vehicles, and is providing the best visibility during raining conditions. ⠀

🎙 While on mat leave, I’ve made a mental list of all the daytime TV hosts and whether I like them or not. Without reason, I’ve decided to share this list with you: •
1. Dr. Phil = approved
2. Dr. Oz = denied
3. The View = all denied
4. Cityline’s Tracy = denied
5. Tamron Hall = denied
6. Live w/ Kelly & Ryan = Ryan ✔️, Kelly ❌
7. Rachael Ray = do I need to answer? ❌
8. The Social = ❌❌❌
9. Judge Judy = ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️ 🧠 •
Needless to say it’s better to blow bubbles than listen to half of these people speak. Z •
For the kiss, on the crossing of Boulevard Raspail and Rue de Rennes, for the one bedroom apartment in the sixth district, near Église Saint -Sulpice, for the shy attempts in speaking French, swallowing the last syllables, pronouncing ‘chez pas” instead of ‘Je ne sais pas,’ trying to sound more Parisian, as our French language professor taught us, for being openly in love with my fellow classmate, and secretly, with my almost fifty something teacher, for the delicious, every morning smell of the freshly made bread and croissants, coming from the bakery at the corner of my house, for a tiny hotel on Boulevard Montparnasse, where I stayed before renting an apartment, for the bookshops, for Rodin museum, for the Gertrude Stein’s home at Rue De Fleurus, that I passed every day, for being able to express myself freely in a foreign language, for the La Rotonde, and ‘A Moveable Feast’ spirit, for the gloomy, rainy days, and for being young, careless, reckless, adventurous, and almost unconditionally happy every single day of my stay, for the revelation, that everything has an end, and that you’re going to miss it, possibly for your entire life, for an unexpected, deep imprint that city had on me, on everything I’ve done afterwards, and for searching and never finding that twenty year old me, running in a pouring rain, redheaded, wet, repeating the ‘Vienne vite, boire, un bonne verre du vin blanc’ and laughing out loud, I’ll forever love Paris. #paris#parisfrance#parisjetaime#tuesdaythoughts#travel
Just a little reminder that it’s always cool to be kind ✨
We’ve talked a lot about how stressful this time of year can be for us all, and while it’s so important to never stress yourself out too much just to make others happy, it’s also good to be conscious and aware of how those around you feel.
We can all become snappy and irritable when we are stressed and pushing through to meet end of year deadlines, so don’t be so hard on those around you, be they friends, family or colleagues if you find them in a less than perky mood.
You never know, until you stop to think about it, who around you might need a little random act of kindness.
So be on the look out this week, and if you see someone stressed out, nervous, anxious or just not themselves, think about something unexpected you could do to make them smile.
Maybe you could buy them a coffee or a bit of chocolate?
It does’nt have to be a huge gesture, it just has to be a kind one ✨
“If the Earth were a single state, #Istanbul would be its capital” - Napoleon Bonaparte ...and there’s nothing about this quote I don’t agree with, this City of Majesty has my ❤ If you too are an avid traveller like me and have watched my latest vlog on

I recently read somewhere that behind every complaint is a desire, and you should say what you DO want instead of what you DON’T want. I’ve never thought about complaining in that way before, and I really like the shift in perspective! 🙃
