Awkwardly laughing my way into my 30’s and I wouldn’t have it any other way. For most of my early 20’s I thought I had to be a certain way to make other people comfortable. You know, people have an idea of who you are and for some reason we choose to shape our lives based on their opinions. I was always myself: acted silly, spoke my truth, wasn’t afraid to stand up for my opinions, until all of that was met with constant judgement, disdain, and negativity. It wasn’t until 5 years ago that I decided to stop giving a f*ck about what other people thought of me and realized I don’t need anyone’s approval to be me. Learning to live my life without the world’s chatter in my head is one of my biggest accomplishments in my life. I know many of you will think ‘what do you mean, I live my life without anyone’s opinions influencing me’. And I’m here to tell you that maybe only 2% of you actually do that. If you’re doing something you don’t want to do because someone told you it’s “good for you”, or if your loved ones opinions are shaping your decisions, or if you’re afraid to look “dumb” or “weird” doing anything, then I hate to break it to you, you’re not living your life for you. I’m the girl in the grocery store dancing to music while I shop and I’m sure there’s been many occasions where people have flashed me looks of concern and confusion, but I’ve never noticed. What I have noticed, is people who smile and laugh and start dancing too because they see that it’s ok to be you and radiate happiness even if the rest of the world does not get it. I’m not here to say that’s bad; you’re allowed to live for other’s if that’s what you want to choose for the rest of YOUR life, but if you want to live for YOU, then the first step is letting go of everyone’s opinions regardless of the consequences. You may lose people, but you’ll gain perspective. And amazing people who are on the same page as you will come into your life unexpectedly. You will teach yourself how to stand up for who you are and, in turn, help teach the people around you to be more open, understanding, and compassionate to the differences inside us all. So here’s to my 30’s (and all of you) and living life FOR ME.

Turns out sisters make for pretty epic travel companions! We’re so aligned on how to spend our time, how little makeup to wear (I may have forgotten mine at home, whoops), and how early to get in bed 👵🏼 We dedicate this beach rainbow to our makers 🌈 #CozyTraveler#SistersTrip
Happy Full Moon & Happy Friday the 13th 🧜🏻♀️🌕📿🧿🌺
This Gemini moon us to reflect on what we’ve learned from our journey so far, but also to seek out the wisdom of more experienced travelers. By learning from their mistakes, perhaps we can avoid repeating them ourselves ✨
Making today more awesome...13 is a sign from your angels you are connected to the ascended masters and their ability to help you manifest your desires ✨
I have always love cruising...back in 1988, I was showing legs on a Norwegian cruise ship heading to #jamaica and in 2019 I am still cruising and showing legs... this time with Royal Caribbean on @ubersocacruise heading to #turksandcaicosislands
The most popular restaurant at @beachesresorts?! Kimonos! I’m obsessed with hibachi restaurants, one of Hubby and I’s favorite local date night spots is a hibachi restaurant, so I was eager to try! Definitely a tad bit different than in the states, like no “yum yum sauce” since that’s an American made up thing, but so yum! I see why it’s one of the two out of 21+ you need a reservation for 😋

I’ve been a SAHM for about 3.5 years and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. While I was on maternity leave, I kept going back and forth on the idea. I had a career that I loved and was even given a pay raise before going on maternity leave. My job wasn’t just a job. It was something I was proud of and looked forward to going to work. Honestly, I don’t think I ever called in sick. And if I did, I had the option to work from home. I gave it all up for my kids and i don’t regret it one bit.
Just because I’m a SAHM does not mean that my life isn’t as exciting as someone with a career. I can go to class parties, have lunch with Tristan, and travel any time I want to. If I worked, my vacation days would be limited. If we wanted to go out of town tomorrow, I have the ability to pack our stuff and GO.
Piggybacking from my last post, I am so blessed to be able to spend as much time with my kids while they’re still young. Like what I said, these are moments that pass that we can never get back. My family is more important that anything in the world.

Into the great unknown 💧🌊
I love the ocean 💙 Sitting in the shallow part of the water, rocking back and forth by the waves brushing the shore, I find it to be so peaceful & soothing. It reminds me to stay present and enjoy each and every moment I am experiencing 🌎 ~ do you actively practice being present/conscious of the moment you are in? Do you practice consciously setting aside the phone and actually living in the present? It’s so important.
There are so many distractions, so much information that is constantly being presented in front of us that it’s easy to forget to live in the present and actually wake up / be conscious / enjoy the simple things in life 🌞
Ps. We used a fisheye lens that we got on amazon for this photo, do you guys like this photo style?? Do you notice a difference? I’d love to hear feedback 📷

It is such a privilege to travel and experience the many different cultures of the world 🌎
I always feel so humbled any time I go somewhere new. Does anyone else feel this way? 🌞💛
We only had our visas and the coffee shops near our villa only accepted cash but there wasn’t an ATM anywhere nearby so the lady at the second coffee shop we trekked to saw how hot and hungry we were and offered to make us breakfast & coffee for free until we could come back the next day and pay for it. We couldn’t believe that she offered us a meal and just trusted that we would come back the next day and it’s those acts of kindness that make the world a better place. & of course we went back the next day 💕😁
