Our poor lake is completely littered with garbage right now 😓 the wind.. it hasn’t been cleaned up from winter yet.. I think we have a community cleaning day coming up this spring. Even still, the boys had fun playing with duckies 🦆 🦆🦆 Ares thought they were hilarious. DJ made a fishing/duck feeding pole out of a stick. All of us got out of the house, finally getting some fresh air and sun ☀️ #clubfoot#teamares#utah#sunshine#toddlerlife#bugslife#talipes#duckies#lake
Infrared Hyperthermia vs Hydrobased Hyperthermia
In comparison to traditional infrared hyperthermia, hydrobased hyperthermia is more effective and poses less health risks to patients
While both methods can raise the body temperature to 105 F (the target temperature per research), hydrobased is more effecient from a thermodynamic system perspective
In thermodynamics, there are two types of systems, OPEN and CLOSED. Open means heat exchange can occur between the body and surroundings. Closed means the heat can not be exchanged and is captured.
While no closed system is perfect, our patients wear a swimsuit and the suit shown in the photo as water at 113 F fills the suit and heats the patient
In infrared hyperthermia, the patient’s body begins to sweat as the body tries to cool itself, and enable heat to exchange to the surroundings.
With hydrobased all of the heat is captured in the suit, such that there is a more efficient thermodynamic system to increase the core body temperature
Consequently with hydrobased, patients do not be sedated or risk having their skin burned, and typically only do treatment for 45 mins on average
As there are less risks, patients do treatment daily in our 2 week treatment protocol
In addition to the hyperthermia treatment itself, the table the patient is laying on has PEMF magnets built in so the patient receives PEMF therapy the entire time
Tag someone considering hyperthermia and lets have a conversation on which is more effective

We were lucky to have a warm winter day on our hike up to Angel's Landing in Zion. The chain section to the end isn't for everyone, but the reward was worth it!
I don’t always have time to record covers and make aesthetic music videos for them, but i think there’s something really intimate about just sitting on the floor with your guitar and some candles 🤪💕🌟 music for me is a way for me to connect with other people but also a way for me to check in with myself.
I'm so excited to be the Utah Flute Association’s (@utahflute's) Guest Artist this Saturday for their 2020 Festival! A big shout out to @tjflutes & @miyazawaflutes for sponsoring this event alongside @summerhaysmusic and @westminsterslc!
This is pretty cool for me since I grew up attending this festival every year.
I will be giving a masterclass, a lecture: "Build Your Future Career Through Social Media" and a recital.
If you have are interested in participating (open to all ages!) in the masterclass, check out their website 😃
