There's something about vanlife in the mornings that makes me feel I'm exactly where I should be ✨
Leaving the mountains for the Italian coast where my brother and @alan_mccloy will do the full IRONMAN 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️. It will be so much fun to support them with both our families. Last year it was just me at the sideline for 12 hours chasing every point where I could get a glimpse of Alan 🙈
🚐 Spaces of storage 🚐
—-> 🇦🇺 Storage storage for more storage again we need it in this small area. 📦
This drawer has two functions😱
➡️ storage down this drawer,
➡️ but on the top we can use it as a table for eat inside the van 🤩👌

Hello! Saying hi from our lovely family of 3 for the first time. It’s been 6,5 weeks since Espen has been exploring planet earth. He seems to like it here, although it takes some time getting used too, from both sides.
We are also very happy to tell you that luck (and hard work from Martijn) has been on our side lately. The new ENGINE is WORKING! 🥳. Let’s get this party started!
We are not running on a time schedule, but we are hoping to move from one camper to the other in the beginning of next month.
Thank you for following us on quite a difficult journey last year. Hope we can stuff this page with some great adventure in the near future again.
After spending 2 days driving as we crossed the Nullarbor, reaching Streaky Bay was a beautiful spot to get out the van and stretch our legs. If you’re wanting a lesser known beach spot then make sure you head here!
Well I guess I’m overdue for a van update 😪
You guys I’ve been a slacker. For realll
But it’s not like I’ve been doing NOTHING. Sasha kinda looks like a spaceship right now 🚀
So I finally patched the holes in the floor, my dad had a fabricator friend make a sunken battery box where the hole used to be 👏🏼 so now my batteries will take minimal van space!
Sound deadener on most exposed metal, reflective bubble wrap over the windows that I want to be walls, and foam insulation to go into the walls and ceiling. I also made custom reflective covers for my window vents. And installed a vent fan in the roof. And then waterproofed the shit out of it.
Most of this I did while camped out in my local Home Depot parking lot. Shout out to John in the lumber department! Homeboy’s had my back.
The good news is that Odie and I have already camped out in the van so it’s all up from here. 👆🏼
We originally thought we would hang in Minnesota and explore the boundary waters for a little before it got too cold but after a few days being there we were over it. Luna started getting sick, the weather was rainy and 30 degrees colder than what we were used to and we were having trouble finding free places to sleep (we rarely pay for parking at night). I guess it’s safe to say we just didn’t vibe with the place. Maybe we’ll go back another time of year but this is another reason why it’s so nice to not be tied down to a specific place and to have the freedom to go wherever whenever. We are working our way to Colorado where we plan to be for the next month or so and we’re very excited! However, I keep hearing about altitude sickness 🤔🥴 so I’m trying to be ahead of the game and learn as much as I can.
Has anyone ever experienced it before? What should we do to prepare?
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
