Travelling with two dogs, cooking a lot of our own meals and dealing with wetsuits and damp kit means ventilation is super important to us. Because of this we are opting for two of the MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe for the build. We’ll be able to create plenty of air circulation in all weathers with these fitted.
Golden days with our golden three 🌅
Gosh I love them sooooo much! Days in the ocean are so good for the soul 🌞✨

Update on my Snowdonia swims project: normal service will resume in March. Thanks for your patience when I disappeared and reappeared doing mostly the same things but upside down in the sunshine in the world’s back pocket instead of in the snow and storms battering my homeland! I had a wee spell of poor health but am right as rain after recuperating in hubby’s home country. To anyone new here, thanks for the follow. This feed is mostly about running about in the wilderness to find and earn swims in beautiful places. The project began when, as an avid trail runner, I injured my achilles. Unable to run as far or as fast as I used to, I began combining running with swimming to get a blast of both worlds. I don’t tend to share exact locations because my aim is really to share stories about the joys of getting close to nature - maybe even pants-off close - on mini-escapades, rather than giving away hidden gems, but if you’re desperate to know a photo location you can message and I’ll (probably) tell you!

A P P R E N T I E S A V E N T U R I È R E S.
Nous sommes moins présents par ici cette année mais nous arrivons à faire quelques escapades le week-end.
Minimalism isn’t purgatory: The weather is fierce here today; black clouds and thick sea fog are taking it in turns to obscure the wild ocean view. Earlier we were battered by hailstones; the van occasionally rocks as if being pushed by a mob outside; the hounds only got a short run on the beach before we were harried indoors - they beat me to the van door to get in. After two winters with no heating, fitting the diesel heater this summer was a gamechanger - it makes this space so warm and cozy whatever the weather outside. We don’t have to wear every item of clothing on a cold day anymore. Minimalist living isn’t about existing like a monk, it’s about discovering and appreciating the things that really make life better, and getting rid of everything else. As I write this, giant thunderstorms are rattling overhead with such low bass notes it can be felt in the gut. I love being this close to nature, but also being able to fold into this tiny, warm & cozy space, with my favourite beings. I also love that we are mobile - let the journey south to Portugal commence! 🇵🇹 . ⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
