Some days I feel like doing cardio like running, some days I feel like lifting, and some days I feel like just walking outside for a bit.
It’s hard to not put pressure on yourself to follow a certain “schedule” like when to do what workouts.
I used to write out the days of the week and try and find the “perfect” lifting schedule. I’d do triceps/shoulders on one day, legs on two certain days, etc. And when something would come up where I couldn’t make it to the gym I’d be stressed out because my entire week was thrown off. Or if I was still sore from another workout, I’d force myself to push through because I had a “set schedule”. •
That works for some people, but I’ve learned that just listening to my body and going with what it feels like doing is always the best. Today I did boxing and ran a few miles on the treadmill and it felt great to just switch things up from my normal lifting. •
Doing what your body craves and listening to what it wants usually ends up with you enjoying your workout and feeling happy :)

Instagram tends to capture the perfect moments in everyone’s life. Well, I post my mistakes because I don’t want to seem like someone I’m not. I ordered a veggie burger at a burger joint. Five bites in I realize that the thing has small amounts of cheese throughout it. Did I freak out? Maybe a little because I’m actually allergic to dairy. I’ve never come across cheese IN a veggie burger so I didn’t even think to ask. 🤷🏻♀️ I stopped eating it and just ate the bun, veggies & fries. Thankfully, I didn’t get sick. Risotto (Over)Stuffed Peppers.... you need to try these, so good!
1C Arborio rice
3C veg broth
1/4C marinara sauce (previously made or jarred)
1/2C white wine
2 cloves garlic
1/4C frozen peas
1/8C nutritional yeast (opt)
Seasoning: S&P, red pepper flakes, fresh dried basil.
1 pepper, halved.
Bake pepper halves at 400 while preparing risotto.
Sauté vegetables in olive oil until softened, add risotto and toast slightly. The add tomato sauce, veg broth (1/2C at a time). Stir frequently until liquid absorbs. Include white wine in one of the liquid additions! Add seasoning. Continue this process until cooked well and most liquid is absorbed.

Tried the new spring shake on Saturday before emo night at @holydiversac 💖🍓 It has gluten free animal cookies, strawberry compote & creamy vanilla shake. Personally this is my favorite shake they’ve offered! Also tried the new Mac with bacon but I ate it too fast to get a photo 🤪😙🧀🥓

Very quick, cute, healthy bowl of happiness🌱💫💚🌟 @tildarice toasted veg rice (first try of this-amazing), @tofooco wholemeal crunchy bites in a homemade sticky sweet and sour sauce with sprinkled sesame seeds, sliced avo with salt, pepper and a squeeze of lime and raw sugar snaps because I love em 😍 For the sauce- Add a splash of soya sauce (to taste, you can always add more after), 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce and 2 squeezed clementines straight into a pan with a tsp of cornflour and approx 100ml water and simmer on low heat for 15 mins until sticky😋

Bazlama (a traditional turkish food; mine is with vegan cheese) is one of my favorite bread alike meals, especially with vegan cheese! As also, nothing can beat my moms food and luckily the turkish kitchen is filled with lots plantbased meals ❤️ #vegangraphy

SESAME TOFU SANDWICHES 🤪🥪 idk about you but I used to really struggle with vegan sandwich fillings because for some reason I thought the only thing you could put in between two pieces of bread was ham and cheese 🤷♀️ no no NO. Let me tell YOU that vegan sandwiches can be just as satisfying as meaty/cheesey ones and they don’t have to be hummus-based (though hummus sandwiches are an absolute winner imo) 💣 DETAILS >> homemade sourdough, peanut butter (trust 😘), tofu fried in a dash of sesame oil and soy sauce, grated carrot and shredded cabbage (quickly pickled in @osuvinegar apple cider vinegar 💪) 10000/10 🥳

There’s going to be a lot of valentines love couples all over the gram tomorrow for sure, It’s cute, but remember It’s a highlight. Nobodies relationship is perfect. Nobodiiiiies. Please don’t rush in to things because you feel pressure or that you’re less than without it, if you’re not in a relationship with someone how about you start with the relationship you have to yourself, yeah?
Amazing things can happen when you just let it go and create a beautiful life from the inside out. Take care of that emptiness you feel inside you. That person you’re wishing/waiting/looking for, they’ll show up. eventually. when you’re ready for it.
Let’s all just take responsibility and take care of ourselves first before we jump in to something when we’re still emotionally unavailable, because there’s a whole lot of that going around and I think we’ve all just had enough.
