Just after my 21st birthday I started my journey into veganism, I had already given up dairy, and now gave up meat and then removed every other animal product 🌿 it didn’t happen overnight, and was something I had to educate myself on, and I found myself becoming more and more passionate about veganism and the ethics behind it ☺️ I’m so glad now that I have this platform where I can share vegan food with you guys and just how incredible a vegan lifestyle can be so I just want to say a massive thank you to you all for being here 💛

Sweet & Spicy Tofu and Ramen Bowl by @janetsmunchmeals 🌿 What would you love in your bowl? Get the recipe:
1/2 package tofu, sliced in cubes and pressed well to remove liquid
Cornstarch, salt and garlic powder
Cooked ramen noodle (or any noodle)
Veggies of your choice
1 T sesame oil
1 T chili garlic sauce
2 T rice wine vinegar
2 T light soy sauce
2 T agave or maple syrup
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1.5 tsp water
Coat tofu cubes lightly with cornstarch, pan fry in a bit of oil until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes. Stir every few minutes. Push tofu aside and add sauce, letting bubble to thicken. Spoon over tofu and use remaining sauce to coat noodles. Serve with veggies and top with peanuts and sesame seeds.

Raw Vegan Cheezy Marinara Pasta. 🍝 🧀 ❤️ .
When I was living @fruithavenecovillage there was a great divide between those who prefer zoodles (zucchini noodles) and those who are team coodles (cucumber noodles). .
For me the answer is so obvious. 😝 .
What side are you on? Pro zoodle or pro coodle? .
Also, I acknowledge how bizarre this probably sounds to all those just eat regular ‘ol pasta. But there’s a whole world of noodles out there beyond the norm you might want to try. 😅
Highly recommend these if you're going to Leon. They're not the most filling but are definitely one of my favourite things off of their menu.

Roasted Aubergine & Parsnips ✨
I crisscrossed aubergine halves for this recipe and brushed a mixture of olive oil, minced garlic, a little balsamic vinegar and oregano on them.
Roast at 180C until golden brown💫
The same goes for the parsnips (just used rosemary instead of oregano) after pre-boiling them for about 10 mins.
Served it with Quinoa and a soy yogurt sauce 🌟

We're looking for 60 people to become "Friends Of The Festival" and be patrons for the 2020 event. As a grassroots not-for-profit event, we rely on community support and the Friends of the festival will be directly paying for BSL interpretation this year which will ensure our event is more accessible and reduce the barriers of access to the event and the vegan community. All remaining profits from our 2020 event will go to support the fantastic work being done at Dundee Foodbank and the Grampian Hunt Sabs.
Op een regenachtige zondag waar volgens de weerberichten al 25mm regen is gevallen, toch besluiten het weer te trotseren. We liepen al vaker langs @fastenvegan , maar nog nooit eerder naar binnen gelopen. We hadden front row seats met een prachtig uitzicht op de Piet Heinstraat. Ik bestelde een flat white met kokosmelk, dit had ik nooit eerder gedronken. Als je van kokos en koffie houdt, dan is het een goede combinatie! Verder nam mijn partner een beyond burger en super verbaasd over de smaak van vlees terwijl dit geen vlees was. Het is een super leuk cafeetje! Side note ik won 3x met ‘wie is het?’

Vegan Mushroom Stroganoff 🍄🌱
Recipe: 2 Servings
1 onion diced
2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
11 oz mushrooms, sliced (300 g)
4 tbsp white wine (optional)
1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
3/4 cup vegetable broth or water (180 ml)
3/4 cup plant-based milk/cream (180 ml)
2 tbsp cornstarch
Spice mixture: 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, a pinch of chili flakes, sea salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes (optional)
Fresh thyme leaves and/or parsley (and/or tarragon), chopped
Serve with brown rice or pasta of choice
Heat oil in a large pan/skillet, add onion and fry for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and fry for a further 1 minute.
Now add the mushrooms and fry over medium heat for about 5 mins.
Pour in white wine (optional), vegetable broth, tamari (or soy sauce), and the spice mixture. I love adding nutritional yeast flakes as well but that's optional! Bring to a boil.
Add cornstarch to the plant-based milk or cream and stir to dissolve.
Pour the milk/cream mixture into the pan and cook on low-medium heat for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens. Taste and adjust seasonings as to your preference.
Add fresh thyme leaves and/or parsley and/or tarragon to taste! Enjoy with brown rice or pasta of choice!

🍕😍 Game Changer Homemade Vegan Pizza With Homemade Vegan Mozzarella! 📷 by @plantifullybased
3 cups flour (360g)
1 packet of yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup warm water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cauliflower (375g)
3.5 tbsp tapioca flour
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1-2 tsp salt
*add salt to taste preferences
1/2-1 cup non-dairy milk, unsweetened and no flavor
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp parsley
A pinch red pepper flakes
Warm the water up to 110-115F (43-46C). I usually put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds and that is good. You can use a thermometer to check or I test it with my finger for the temperature of a very hot bath.
Pour the sugar and yeast packet int the water and set it aside for 10 minutes. The yeast will get foamy and start to smell.
Sift in 1/2 the flour and salt into a big bowl. I like to add the flour in halves so I do not add too much. Some days you may need more or less flour.

🌱😍 Homemade pan-fried veggies steamed bun! 📷 by @woon.heng 🚨🚨Recipe: (yields 20-25 small buns)
~ 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
~ 1 pack active yeast (2 1/4 teaspoon)
~ 3 teaspoons sugar
~ 3 teaspoons oil
~ 2/3 cup warm plant-based milk
~ 4 cups finely shredded cabbage
~ 1 cup chopped kale
~ 7-8 mushrooms, soak until soft & slice thinly
~ 1 carrot, finely chopped
~ 2 teaspoons thinly sliced ginger, 3 cloves minced garlic
~ 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 teaspoons stir fry sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, a pinch of white pepper
~ salt, oil, sesame oil, minced ginger, chopped scallions
✅Mix flour, yeast & sugar in a bowl, then add-in wet ingredients. Using a dough hook, knead the mixture until a soft dough forms. Turn dough onto a floured surface, & knead for 4-5 minutes until you see a smooth top. Let the dough rest in a bowl for 30 minutes, covered.
✅Meanwhile, in a heated pan with 2 teaspoons oil, sauté ginger, mushrooms & garlic until fragrant. Add cabbage & sauce, cook for 2 minutes & spoon mixture into a bowl. Continue to sauté kale with a little oil & salt, then add to cabbage mixture along with chopped scallions, minced ginger, carrot & drizzle of sesame oil.
✅To make the buns, turn dough onto a floured surface & roll into a log. Divide log into 20-25 pieces & roll each one into a ball. Take 1 dough & flatten it slightly with your palm, then using a roller, roll it to about 3 inches round by leaving a good thickness in the middle. Place a heaping tablespoon of filing & pleat to seal.
✅In a heated pan with a drizzle of oil, place buns sealed side down & pan fry for 30 secs until the bottom turns light brown. Slowly add in hot water to cover ~1/3 of the buns, place lid over & turn heat to low-med. Cook until all water is absorbed.
Serve warm with homemade chili oil in soy sauce🤗
