Travel during the winter months isn’t easy, it’s cold and many times complicated, but the show of the mountains covered in snow makes it all worth it and if you consider that many times you’ll have places like this all for yourself while packed with people in the summer months... then you should really consider when to get here!
Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? Kyle and I actually don’t! He thinks it’s overly commercialized and I usually forget to plan anything! 🙈 This year is different though! We’re doing double date tonight and are headed to a show and dinner tonight with @goldstarevents_!
I’m back in Canada!!! .
After spending a week exploring Washington and Oregon with my boy @danbow1, it’s great to be back home and know that I have, at least, another two years of exploring this amazing country with the best people
Thank you to everyone for all the support along this journey, it’s certainly been a tough one. Next up is obtaining PR
Go follow your dreams people, you really can make them come true if you put the effort in.
I’m a little late to the posting party but....Banff 2k20 was so cool that I apparently needed some time process. What an amazing trip with a bunch of super rad people! By far the best part of the trip was jumping into some intentional and deep relationships with my friends. Seeing cool stuff was just bonus points. I’m grateful for how God brought us together and gave us a space to get real for a week.
Would you swim in a frozen lake? Sometimes you just have to take the plunge and do it! This is the second time I have done it and I have never felt so alive!! Check my stories for a photo of the last time I went for a polar dip!
I was totally inspired by a @travelwithtalia post when it comes to the pose here. Check out her latest post to see what I mean!
I’m turning my attention this week to the first studio paintings from last summer’s trip to the Canadian Rockies. Can’t wait to develop a new series of mountain paintings I’ll be sharing throughout the year.
One of the best parts about staying in the town of Banff is you can peak out the window of your warm hotel room every morning and decide, is today gonna be a nice sunrise? Finally got lucky on my last morning in Alberta, can't wait to go back.
Mount Rundle - Vermillion Lakes - Banff National Park
Because of our jobs, my husband and I can’t really ever travel in the summer. That’s totally okay with us, if you gotta be stuck in one place all summer long, Glacier National Park ain’t a bad place to be. In fact, we quite enjoy being “stuck” here. When I first got into this field however, I was a little bummed to be stuck traveling in the winter when my perception was that everything would be closed, or things would not be as nice or too cold. But I have come to learn that winter can be the most magical season of all and we are truly blessed to be able to explore in the snow covered beauty.

My month of quietness on the socials is over, but I’ve been busy behind the scenes editing images and dabbling with some photography competitions.
I’m extremely excited to show off my image of Mt Rundle in Banff National Park. The image won third place in the @fusionartps 5th Annual Landscapes Art Exhibition.
