Hellloooo!!! So, this has to be my greatest achievement. I was working on this for the past 4 months and it has been a great experience tweaking all the required material knowing what to do, what was right and wrong. Had, so many difficulties making this. Trust me, I re-did everything for like 5 times still this isn't perfect. I've been updating every step on Instagram and so far I am satisfied with this final output. It doesn't have the 'Wow' factor as such or isn't the greatest but it has my 100%. Not to brag but making this kinda Live CG takes so much time and many artists combined. I consider this a personal achievement if not anything. I am taking mentorship from Sir @allanmckayofficial . This is all his teachings that I am perfecting into this. He's a motivator and my mentor. I am also gratetful to @maac_malad_miraroad_sakinaka and my teacher's there. Shoaib Sir, @seetha04.10 ma'am, @abhishekanimat sir. And, my parents to making me capable to do this. But, I've been trying to achieve something like this for a really long time. I know there are a lot of mistakes and this may not be perfect, but I hope to do a much better work next time. This still isn't what I was hoping for and this isn't the final render still. I'd definitely re do this next time with more precision and experience! Hope y'all like and appreciate this. Make sure to give me a review be it good or bad so that it motivates me to do a better work next time. 😘
So about 7 years ago my friend let me listen to an amazing song cover called "skyrim: the dragon born comes". Gdjdjdhxhsjslwhx........ I was completely mind blown by the masterpiece that @malukah had sang till this day I love the music she makes.
Soo I got inspired to make this small animation as gratitude for such great joy her songs brought me
And i got a lot of inspiration from @olof_storm in the making of this animation
Start where you are. It’s easy as a filmmaker to look at someone online and compare their year 10 to your year 5. •
Instead of comparing let’s work on the discipline part of creativity. Meaning:
1. Work the lane you are in. If you aspire to learn special effects, put in the work to get there. Make sure you have learned the foundation.
2. Ask to shadow someone. Volunteer to work on sets. No one is handing out wins you have to show up and do your part. Learn as much as you can and put it into practice on your own sets.
3. Stop buying film equipment you don’t need at the moment or know how to use just so you can say I have a RED Camera. Use what you have and become great first.
Oh, we’ve also started our savings challenge for your film project...are you saving? Let me know drop a 🤑 or a 🥴
***Spoiler alert. Did you know that #fivefeetapart was NOT shot in the winter? 😜
I remember when I used to buy DVD’s and scour youtube just to find videos like this and see how filmmakers made their movies. So since @fivefeetapart has been nominated for two @peopleschoice awards- I thought it was important to have a peak behind the curtain of how we made it. So much love and attention to detail went into building this winter world which we shot in the dead of summer in muggy New Orleans.
All that being said- please vote for @fivefeetapartfilm and @colesprouse for the #PeopleChoiceAwards - link in bio!
And a special shoutout to Andrew Bly and everyone at @the_molecule_vfx for their absolutely incredible VFX work on Five Feet Apart and my brother @stefansonnenfeld and the team at @co3 for going above and beyond and being the greatest color / post facility in the world. #bts#behindthescenes#moviemagic#vfx
