It's back to uni and time of the year to get back into routine and knuckle down with work 📚
Although we aren't at the Ulster University in Belfast, we captured this gorgeous patch of wildflowers outside the uni. All different colours, shapes and sizes and the most important thing? An abundance of bees and insects! 🐝🦋🐞
When I took this photo, it reminded me of the pollen that bees provide that go into our delicious fruit and veg everyday of the year. Fruit and veg is very important in a balanced diet. But with the demand of wanting the likes of strawberries and bananas all summer and winter long, it is forcing more and more imports from different countries (spoiler- equating to a heck of a lot of carbon footprint!). -
So when you buy your next uni shop, do a bit of research beforehand to find what is in season, what is produced more locally and what is naturally pollinated by our local, busy bees 🐝
I actually can’t remember if I was checking a photo or still trying to figure this thing out?! No seriously, it has been such a great few days filming in Vienna at the @halfstack2019 conference. I’m so excited for what’s next and I’m buzzing to be a part of the @wearedhd team.
P.S to avoid confusion, I’m still taking wedding bookings for this year and next! 📸. @mattywenlock
