Our recent stay at the #hamptoninn in #pennyanny proved your #lodging being rated only two stars doesn't it doesnt have five-star staff, service, and views like this. We won't hesitate to stay there again. Particularly lakeside.
Another week till I head out to chase the spring migration. I’m thinking of reaching out to anyone who knows of any good spots holding ducks along my way. I’ll keep ya updated on my whereabouts and would welcome any info via p.m.
The last day of goose hunting season was a good one! Even though the weather conditions were not ideal, the students from South Dakota School of Mines managed to get the birds close enough to lay a few on the ground.
Campus Waterfowl is also looking for students in NE, SD, MN, and ND to be apart of the college tour this spring. If you or someone you know attends a college in the area and chases snow geese send us a message! // 📸: @thegoosepapi

Water Chestnut, Trapa natans, is an invasive aquatic plant that quickly forms dense mats. Not only does it outcompete native plants it causes problems with water quality. It interferes with oxygen levels in lakes, ponds and streams leading to fish kills. The plants grow so thick it hinders boating, swimming and water fowl livelihood. The plant spreads by ducks, geese, water currents and boats. If you see this plant in small quantities you can remove them carefully by hand. Large colonies requires a specialist. #waterchestnut
It might be hard to believe, but we’ll be doing water work before we know it.
