Caught up with work, studying..and just not enough sleep these days.

The face you make when you’ve done SO many snatches and you’re not sure you’re gonna get that 105# on the last set 😳
I can’t believe I even made it to the 5th round and was able to get 1, 105# snatch up after the volume we did today.
Round 1: 10 snatches (55#) | 12 T2B
Round 2: 10 snatches (65#) | 12 T2B
Round 3: 10 snatches (75#) | 12 T2B
Round 4: 10 snatches (95#) | 12 T2B
Round 5: 10 snatches (105#) | 12 T2B
I decided to do 6 T2B and 6 knees to elbows and then the prescribed weight on snatches in order to try and finish in the cap of 13 minutes. Prior we did so many snatches at 40-60% and then multiple sets at 70%. R O U G H but great!
Get tall! You have to accelerate the bar for as long as you can before transitioning under. Cutting that pull short and trying to rely on your speed to sneak under the bar will only work for so long. At some point you’re going to have to learn to get tall. As always #keeppulling and train hard!

I had head surgery 2 weeks ago, during the first week after my surgery I was in a lot of pain, I wasn’t sleeping well, I lost my appetite and I was struggling but I still pulled myself out of bed everyday and pushed on. I did what I needed to do regardless of how I felt.
It’s my proper first week back in the gym, I’ve been up since 5 am and I’ve worked a busy 9 hour shift in the kitchen and yet do you see me making up excuses? No. Because I am tough, I am hardy, I am a warrior.
The 8 reps I managed with 220kg today was a struggle, but I wasn’t willing to walk away from that platform until I completed 8 reps. It’s been a hard day, but it’s been a successful one and my sprit is high.
No matter what you’re going through even if you’re struggling, you can get through this. Even if it feels like the world around you is crumbling down, you can get through this. Do not give up, do not give in. You have the power to push forward even when things are pushing you back.

But only heavy squats make bigger legs and so on. After 2 surgeries, i do occasionally front squats w 50kg max., cant more cause of surgeries. I do mostly machines, but light weight and 20+ reps, short rest. And its working. High reps, short rest working and its not only for enhanced users. Find what is best for u, stop listening all those “trainers” on social media, its ur body find whats suits u. First @dalalovesdumbbells#EvolveTogetHER workout done and I’m feeling pumped up 💪🏻 I did chest/triceps/shoulders today.
These workouts have so many drop sets and I have a love/hate relationship with them!
Been inside my head a lot the past couple weeks about how I look and my physique. From my short hair, to not having enough muscle, to being too soft (aka fat). You name it. It’s real. It’s raw. I don’t pretend to be who I am not. I also know I am my hardest critic. I am a health coach and a life coach and I strive to help others see the beauty inside themselves and at times often forget to do the same for myself.
The reality of it is I work on my self love day in and out. It’s an ongoing journey for me. I do the inner work a long with the outer work.
So be kind to yourself. You are not alone. Everyday do something to show yourself love. The gym is how I show myself love. The gym is my ‘ME’ time. Self-Love at its finest! These last couple of months, Roberta and I have been working on stability and patterning work for her upper and lower body. .
Like most females, Roberta’s super mobile in her joints. Meaning she has awesome range of motion, but little stability and control of her movements.
Very happy for it to be the start of a new week ☀️
Rough for days back home last week, but sometimes it be like that 😅🥴. I think physio helped loosen things off... which is good... but I’m wrecked from the travel, and post physio affects, and stress of those few days. Pain levels slightly worse than they were before travelling back but hoping that’ll settle down 🥴 finger crossed 😂
We live n learn and it’s more ‘data’. I probs won’t be making that trip again if pain levels stay where they are though 🙄
Ready to get my head down and concentrate on work 🤩 and try and not let this injury get in the way too much

You hate your 9-5 but when you get home at 6 you “end” your day.
You complain about being unhealthy & unfit but in the time that you could be using to workout & or make healthy meals you are watching Netflix & scrolling through social media.
On your weekends and other “off” days you could be working on your side hustle & or improving your health & fitness but instead you go out or you relax at home.
If you aren’t where you want to be why you chillin so much???
When I was starting my business @morgainz_collection & getting into fitness this was how my schedule looked:
5am wake up for college classes, classes till 3:30pm, work 4:30-11pm, workout 11pm-12am, work on the brand 12:30am-3am, sleep 3am-5am. REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT for about 6 months until I was able to quit my part time job and start working for myself full time.
I’m not saying never take a day to relax.
I’m saying don’t relax every evening after your day job & every weekend & day off you have.
When you aren’t where you want to be at.

What a day 🙌🏽 Felt super overwhelmed going to another gym especially one I’ve never been too but what an experience 💕 Defiantly took me out of my comfort zone especially when most of the machines were completely different to my gym but I love the challenge 🏋️♀️ Hip thrust machines are insane 🔥🔥🔥 Also getting to meet @caroline_omahony wow absolute legend and so down to earth was so lovely to meet you your so inspiring!!!!
