Spent about 2 hours at the gym with my dad. We didn’t even know we were there for so long!
We just hopped around doing a bunch of cardio & of course finished with some abs.
Tonight was the first time i’ve ever used the step machine. holy. fuck. That thing is no joke & completely kicked my ass. We had a goal of 1,000 steps & we crushed it. Most definitely almost died, not even going to lie about that.
Let's get real. Am I the only one that spends more time unrolling this thing verses actually using it?!? Also, why the heck do they smell so bad and lingers on your fingers?
Truth be told, I have no idea if I had the right band. This is the first time I worked out just me. Trying to remember Therapy Goddess stuff. (You should have seen the curtsy lunges) The band was for "big step, little step" side steps. I never put or take off band myself. But I did today.
I had a few good moments today. I got there at 5 but I went. I thought about not going and remembered I need to do it when I don't feel like it too. I did excersises I've never done on my own before.
I even jogged a bit back to my truck.
Taco Monday? I mean why not? 🌮🥑🍅 My hubby was in charge of dinner tonight and he picked tacos! I made myself a delicious taco bowl with all of my favorites! Now trying to decided what I should have for dessert!😋

Matthew also has discovered sriracha... hes never had it in his house before... Me neither, but I'm a spice-baby! Lol

One of the best parts about this community (there are SO many!!) is the inside scoop we find on the latest and greatest foods! I wouldn’t be nearly as successful as I have been if it weren’t for discovering like 75% of my favorite WW foods through this insta page. I’ve seen quite a few of you post about the Caulipower chicken tenders and I found them today at my local Walmart. I’ll post my review of the spicy tenders on my stories tonight.

Figured it was time for my first transformation post... My whole life I have struggled with body image and taking care of my health. I’ve done every fad diet, workout regime, and even went to therapy/doctors to figure something out. Nothing stuck. Then one Sunday afternoon in October 2019, I decided I was sick of not living the life I wanted because of my own choices. I decided truly loving myself means sacrificing short term pleasures for long term success. I decided I was done using food/alcohol as a coping mechanism. I decided to push myself past what I thought was my breaking point.
Today has been WILD and not in a good way. It was a high stress day for sure and all I wanted was a quick meal. I've learned not to put much thought into my meals, especially on days like these. I get some protein, veggies, and BAM - done. Dinner was nopales with eggs, broccoli coleslaw I threw together yesterday, and the cutest little junior franks. I stumbled across them @Costco. I love @twrgrassfedbeef Polish sausage so I had to give these a try. They taste very similar in my opinion but I love that they are so small - perfect for my kids. #JanuaryWhole30 Ⓓⓐⓨ ➁➅ Ⓜⓔⓐⓛ ➂
Broccoli slaw was just a bag of broccoli slaw, half a lemon, a squeeze of spicy brown mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Nothing spectacular but great for a quick meal.

💡So here’s the thing. There’s been a lot of talk around about high protein diets being bad for your health especially since the resurgence of the Vegan diet. It’s also well established amongst the medical field that excess protein can cause damage to our organs in particular the liver and kidneys.
But is there any really proof to back up the claims?
Or have we been led astray?
Given the benefits behind fat-loss and high protein diets, am I safe to continue eating a higher protein diet?

change can be scary, but do you know what’s even scarier? allowing fear to stop us from growth, progress, potential opportunities, & future endeavors. something you must understand: stop saying & wondering why things happen “to us” & start thinking’s by things happen “for us”
choose courage, take a leap of faith & have faith in God’s plan that everything in your life is happening for a reason. when you choose courage in the face of fear, you defy the things that hold you back from greatness.
life is not the amount of days you have on this earth but it’s about what you make, do, & fit into those days that allows you to live a remarkable life, therefore, allowing yourself to instill fear, doubt, & things into your brain that prevents you from living your life to your upmost potential is doing yourself a huge disservice & you deserve so much more than that.
within the past couple of months, i’ve had an extreme amount of change in my life & the amount of strength & growth gained from this journey is something i wouldn’t trade for the world.
sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, feels as if the weight of the world is on our shoulders, totally rearranged, & completely altered in every way possible to relocate us to the place we are meant to be.
although we might not realize it in that very moment where we want to fall back, crumble into pieces & curl into a ball & cry, every single thing that happens to us has a purpose.
we must embrace uncertainty. change can be beautiful, yet scary. you can be hurting so much yet healing yourself at the same time. embrace change & get comfortable with the uncomfortable...i promise a happier better you, will thank you.

Hello everyone, hope you’re having a great Monday! I weighed in this morning and was happy to see a 3.6 pound loss for the week! Despite not getting to workout as much as I had wanted to, it was pretty much my first full week of healthy eating and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. My eating habits and mindset around living a healthier life are definitely changing for the better, and I can’t wait to see how much I’ve improved in a couple of months. February, here I come! 😄

Migraines have been testing my strength for over a year. ⠀

Sometimes nausea and vomiting.⠀

They completely knock me off my feet and force me to drop everything. ⠀
