growing up I was always a reasonably active kid🏊 . I loved running around and playing games with my friends. I also played netball and did gymnastics in primary/ intermediate😜. •
When I started high school I also started adventure racing which is basically a sport made up of long distance running, some kayaking, and team building problem solving🏃. Adventure racing was I think one of the main things which triggered my eating disorder😯. What started out as wanting to be fitter and make sure I was able to give my all to the team, turned into restriction and over exersize😥.
These days I'm really working on trying to balance out my exercise. I'm no longer doing adventure racing as I realised the only reason I was doing it was for the fitness😒, and am instead now working on trying to put a bit of muscle on, and increase my flexibility🙋. Of course I'll still be running a few times a week as it would be a shame to lose that fitness, but it's just not my main priority at the moment😊.
If anyone has any tips for how to build a bit of muscle without a gym, Ild love it if you could let me know (YouTube channels, instagrams, ect) 😘

It’s a new moon 🌑 in Pisces ♓️ tonight! Perfect time to set intentions for the month ahead and create space to release any limiting beliefs and blockages you may be carrying that may be getting in the way of what you want.
Rituals you can do to harness the power of this new moon:
1. Sage and cleanse your space from any negative vibes lingering around.
2. Grab your journal and write how you want your life to look like in the future. Bonus points if you read this every night for a month or more!
3. Pieces rules the feet, so take some time to walk barefoot in nature or treat yourself to a pedicure.
4. Dig deep and journal on the beliefs, activities, people, etc that are slowing your growth and make a plan to let them go.

If you are the “orange with dessert” type 🍊then this one is for you!
As always I added that extra nutrition boost in the recipe by adding Chia seeds!
Delicious fluffy squares of yumminess
These are gluten-free & dairy-free
🍊3 eggs whisked in a bowl with juice of one orange & 3 tbsp honey
🍊Add 2 cups ground almond, 1/4 cup chia seeds, sea salt & 2 tsp baking powder.
🍊Whisk well then pour in a 20 inch pan & bake at 200 C for 20 mins.
🍊While it bakes, mix together 1 tsp coconut oil with zest of the orange and add it over the cake as glaze.

Exploring cute lil coffee spots is probably one of my all time favorite hobbies 😍
I’m out in Woodstock Vermont this weekend and we stopped in Mon Vert Cafe earlier! I ordered this small latte with a little maple syrup and 2% milk. Lattes are usually moreso my “weekend” drink of choice dedicated to specialty spots - otherwise my go-to weekday drink is just regular old coffee, usually with cream or almond milk.
Here are my tips for mindful coffee consumption 👇🏼
• stick to 1-2 cups per day
• reduce/eliminate added sugar or switch to stevia
• reduce your cream if you use more than 2-3 tbsp per cup
• switch to skim, lower-fat, almond, or soy milk (coffee shops will automatically use whole milk in drinks like lattes if you don’t specify)
• limit speciality (higher calorie) drinks to once per week
• if you’re a fan of flavored coffee drinks, find spots that brew the flavors in the beans and don’t use syrups! (New England coffee has a million flavors without all the added sugar). At Dunkin, opt for flavor shots instead of swirls because these options have minimal calories and added sugar.
• if you like flavor syrups, ask for 1 pump (coffee shops will usually add 3-4)

#mealprepsunday was a success today! The last couple of weeks have been very hit or miss and I am so glad to have everything prepped for the week. .
Here’s what I prepped:
1️⃣ Egg muffins with broccoli, tomato, and leek
2️⃣ Strawberry and blueberry protein muffins
3️⃣ Chopped and cleaned all veggies for the week (broccoli, asparagus, brussel sprouts)
4️⃣ Smoothie packs with strawberries, blueberries and spinach
5️⃣ Pre-made salad for lunch tomorrow 🤷♀️
All of this took about one hour. It makes mid-week cooking soooo much easier!!

LIFE HACK 🤍
Ever get frustrated that it can take so long for some oils to come out of their bottles?
Some oils are just thicker then others & that’s a GOOD thing! That means it’s real and not synthetically made and watered down
So what do I do? Well there’s the age old trick of sticking it in your pocket or bra for a few minute to warm it up.. but who has time for that?
I added a dropper top to my thicker oil bottles (like Patchouli, Vetiver and Myrrh) and it has seriously been a game changer! I that I am reaching for these oils so much more, it wanting me to add a dropper top to all my bottles 🙊

Turmeric Tea ☕ showing my tummy some love and enjoying simple home comforts before I go skiing for the first time next week! a few days before I travel I like to give my digestion some extra tlc with soothing herbal teas. i use grounding spices like turmeric and ginger to counteract any pre-flight nerves and focus on self-care practices like epsom salt bats and extra sleep to calm the nervous system, which has a direct influence on digestive function. so whether you're travelling soon, or just need to re-centre, grab a mug and take 5 minutes to unwind 💭
Grounding Turmeric Tea
- 1tsp fresh turmeric (grated)
- 1tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 1/2tsp desiccated coconut
- 1/2tsp organic honey or maple syrup
- few sprigs of fresh herbs (I used rosemary🌿)
add everything to a french press and fill with hot water. brew for 10 minutes before sipping slowly.

As a (now) recovering perfectionist and pretty independent person (only child problems lol), it used to be difficult for me to open up to people or ask for help. I thought if I wanted to be successful or heal my traumas, that I had to do it alone. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I’m the strongest I have ever felt since creating and leaning on my support systems. My friends, my doctors, my therapist, my boyfriend - they all support me in different ways and I need them all. These girls right here keep me sane in this entrepreneurial journey, and I’m pretty sure I would have given up by now if it wasn’t for our group hype chat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I start cooking the sweet potatoes first, then added in the bell peppers, then mushrooms, then onion, and lastly kale, all to the same pan. Heated up the tortillas and cooked the eggs in a separate pan once adding the kale, and finally combined it all with some garlic powder and chipotle seasoning 🥰

Gourmet dinner made in under 10min! Yes Jamie Oliver you have a challenger 👨🏻🍳 anyone watch any of his cooking shows? I remember watching his “ Jamie’s 30 min meals” before he launched “Jamie’s 15 min meals” and I was like dayummm! 🤣 now let me present you this glorious teriyaki salmon, spicy scallion oil noodles and broccoli meal that you can make in 10min 🔥🔥🔥 blanch some broccoli in boiling water (or i actually microwave them with a splash of water). Meanwhile, heat a nonstick pan on medium - high heat, drizzle with a little olive oil. Heat some water in a kettle and run the thin egg noodles (these are called Hong Kong noodles - see my IG stories for dEATS, are already cooked, can be found in the refrigerator section of Asian supermarkets) through boiling water to warm up and soften. Place a filet of salmon onto the pan, sear each side for 1-2 min until nicely browned. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add a splash of soy sauce, splash of mirin or sake (optional) and a pinch of sugar to the pan - move the salmon around gently to soak up all the seasonings, and turn over to cook until the fish is done. Takes about 5-6min. Wipe the pan with a paper towel and add 1 tbsp avocado oil (medium-high heat). Add 1 scallion, cut into 4-5 sections and halved, 1 small clove of garlic, minced, and (optional) a handful of snow peas - cut into 1/3 lengthwise - stir for 1 min, then add a little soy sauce, and chili oil before stirring in the warmed noodles to combine well. Why serve your meal with plain noodles or rice when you can have these hot scallion oil noodles that are 10000x the flavor and only take 2 minutes to make? 👍🏻 I shared dEATS on these quick and delicious noodles in my IG stories! . .
