I'm in Cairns Airport now, ready to leave Australia and head back to Europe. Australia has been absolutely mindblowing, and I really want to visit again. It will happen one day for sure!

The endemic Green Rosella (Platycercus caledonicus) is a beauty! 💚 Watching them is always a delight 🌿 Happy Spring, everyone! May this season bring you calm, joyful and friendly interactions...and may we all stop and appreciate nature a little more 🌿

I never really realized the power of looking at something so closely, until I met entomologists and herpatologists. They see the beauty in the most microscopic, fragmented details.
An eight year of dream finally came true!!! It has always been my dream to photograph a fight sequence between a Short-Toed Snake Eagle (“STSE”) and a huge spectacled cobra. Finally, not only was I able to see this once in a life time
sequence but also to photograph these two wonderful creatures standing head to head and giving
each other a tough fight. Its extremely rare to photograph or even witness the complete sequence of
a cobra being killed – usually all these kills are over within a few seconds and we are only lucky
enough to get an image of the cobra being swallowed. Also, in my experience, the snakes surrendered. -@ramamurthy_karthik
I am so annoyed with the “van life” community. They are so toxic. When you mention a potential danger with van life, they just disregard it. Some of them are really arrogant people. Anyway, I do not want to be part of their community. It’s not even as great as everyone says. 😌 I have tried it and it was good for weekends.
