I like the wines made by this vigneron because they have energy and a firm and decisive character like that of Bouzy, like Benoît's.
No-frills wines, direct and deep, like this pure Pinot Noir with a dosage of 5 grams liter.
The sweetest, shortest trip to Napa was a wild success... & made all the more special by getting to celebrate this certified babe’s bday! We started the tasting early in the morning learning everything about the chocolate history, cocoa beans origins 🌿, chocolate production and we tasted a range of awarded chocolates from Trinidad, Jamaica, Venezuela!
Did you know there are Oscars for Chocolates? The famous Golden Beans 🏆! Amedei has won several of those!!! From hot chocolate ☕ to pralines and pure dark ones, this tasting paired with a beautiful Amarone Della Valpolicella was out of heaven! Beautiful alliance between this champagne and raw ham. We wanted to celebrate with that special treat. Ulysse Collin Les Maillons Rosé de Saignée Extra-Brut is just a must have. Base 14’, dg 03/2018 for this one. Intense dark rubis color, foaming a lot when we poured the liquid. Shy at the beginning, cold field. Still having nice red fruits notes, raspberry jelly, currant, wild strawberries. Candy nose with air, felt more nature and vegetal scents. Found some red wine notes from burgundy this time. Delicate palate, creamy contact, medium-bodied, tight structure, good fruit again, Pinot noir feeling with meaty notes. Controlled acidity and nice tannins sensation coming to grasp the tongue gently. less expressive and open than the 13´I had last year, but still gorgeous at every sip ! Have a nice day guys 🥂🥂! .
