Yesterday, I got my (3D) mammogram. The MD recommended getting your first at 40. Of course, still perform your physical exam of your breasts. If you feel a lump, if you think you feel a lump or any irregularity, go to your MD. It’s a good thing to follow these recommendations. Do your kids love gummies? We made some delicious immune supporting, probiotic, antioxidant, NingXia gummies today and Oliver couldn’t get enough of them! I am terrible with recipes, generally I glance at the ingredients and instructions and then just wing it 😂 So I’m going to try my best to give you the exact ingredients and instructions... as best I can remember them 😉
1 cup NingXia Red
1/2 cup Elderberry concentrate
1/2 cup organic cherry juice or flavor of choice
3 TBSP coconut sugar
1 TBSP Aqueous Zinc
6 TBSP Gelatin @vitalproteins
2 capsules Life 9 probiotic
2 drops Orange Vitality
Simmer liquids, then open the Life 9 capsule, dumping the contents into the liquid, stir. Add Orange Vitality or oils of choice. Prepare molds and a dropper or spoon to transfer the liquid from the sauce pan to the molds. **Once you add in the gelatin the liquid will start to gel and you will need to move quickly** Stir in gelatin, one tablespoon at a time to ensure it all dissolves and you don’t have any clumps. Remove from heat and transfer liquids to the molds. Put the molds in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or until the liquid gels. Remove from molds and enjoy! That’s it! It’s so easy! Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

🗒️ Last week, I had so many goals and projects that I wanted to accomplish by the middle of this week. I had a bumpy start to my week. Anxiety and depression came by to visit. Now, I probably ticked off 40-50% of my checklist since then ✖️
🙉 If this were 2 years ago, I would have let my self deprecation take over my head for days because of my checklist leftovers. That was how I would ‘motivate’ myself.
🤗 There are people in my life who constantly remind me about taking breaks, setting boundaries, and honoring my journey to becoming whoever I am becoming. It took a while for their words to really sink in. I thank them fiercely ❣️
So if you are in the rut like me, here’s what I am learning (again and again). Hope this helps you:
🙋♀️ YOU ARE NOT YOUR GOALS. Ticking off only 40-50% of your checklist does not make you 50-60% less worthy of love and peace.
😫 DO NOT LET YOUR ROUTINE CONSUME YOU. You are allowed to create a life that you can enjoy and feel at ease. You have to have a clear understanding of what is holding you back.
🤩 BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. No matter what kind of rut you’re in right now – health, creativity, career – you always have the power to get unstuck and try again. You are human, and it is normal to have good and bad days. It is always good to connect with people and not isolate yourself. Sometimes believing in yourself means asking for help too!

What does your tongue say about your health?
Our body is truly magical. Have your noticed changes on your tongue under different conditions? When you feel unwell, dehydrated, stressed or even when you have insomnia can all reflect in the differences in your tongue presentation.
Our doctors are trained to identify different variation in the tongue along with intake questions and other physical exams. Other features our doctors also look for are nails, skin, eyes, ears, etc. Subtle changes in the peripheral can indicate important information on the overall functioning of the body.
Our tongue shows a lot of internal functionings. Here are a few different things to look for:
➡️ Color: normal colour of the tongue should be pink or light red in colour. Any deviation indicates abnormalities. A red tip (heart) may indicate a restless mind and trouble with sleep
➡️ Shape: is it swollen? flaccid? Bigger than usual? Stiff? Swollen edges? There are many more different variations. If the shape is unusual comparing to your normal, it may indicate abnormalities
➡️ Texture: are there red spots? White spots? Is it smooth?
➡️Coat: Does it have a thin coat? Thick coat? White coat? Yellow coat? No coat?
➡️Movement: Does the tongue have excess movement when sticking out? Hard to stick out?
Next time you look in the mirror, take a look at your tongue too!

I have been so comforted by the videos and posts that other women have shared online and figured, why not share my own experience if it can help someone else. 💪💞
On Monday, I underwent a hysteroscopy, a myomectomy, and robotic laparascopic surgery for endometriosis. I can say with certainty that when it comes to your health, YOU are your best advocate. Have faith! You know your body. If you feel that something is off, trust that! Trust that the Lord will guide you and that you are not alone in that process! Also, ask questions. Find a specialist who *knows the disease. Do not be afraid to reach out and ask for a physical copy of your ultrasound. Do not be afraid to email your doctor with questions or concerns. One nurse told me that she thought I was the first person to ask her for a copy of my images. This shocked me. Ask for images from your ultrasounds and HSG! Don't hesitate to describe the pain you are having to your specialist. Educate yourself on your body. Read other people's stories. Watch the documentary, #endowhat@endowhatfilm . Read Lara Biden's "repair manual". I am so grateful to the friends and friends-of-friends who were willing to tell me about their experiences. I love that our culture is shedding new light on what endometriosis is. Technology has come a long way. How I ensure MORNING Workouts happen
Where are my morning people?
Do you have a set routine before the grind? I think with a full load almost every single day, I have learned that once evening rolls around I am legitimately exhausted. HENCE, Morning workouts are truly my only option (especially after having kids) and I prefer to keep it that way.
Through the chaos of kids, work, and everything in between, here’s some easy Morning Hacks: .
• PREP the night before: Check the weather, have your clothes ready to go, watches & music devices charged, playlist or podcast on reserve, shoes by door (I am limited with my plantar fasciitis).
• DO NOT hit the snooze button: What I simply do is make sure my alarm (iPhone) is far enough to make me have to get out of bed to turn it off. Extra bonus - I choose a motivating song as the tone!
• Pre-Workout NUTRITION: I cannot function without the STRONGEST NESPRESSO so I always have my yeti & pod right next to the machine. If I’m taking any workout supplement I will have that out along with the bottle already cold & filled up with water so all I have to do is add the solution. I pretty much train on an empty stomach unless it’s a tough workout then I will get some kind of energy chew or gel.
• Be SELFISH with your time first thing: Meditate, pray, journalism, planner, reading, or for my instance STRETCH in silence. After all, if you’re up extra early make it worth your while.
• Make sure the KIDS are taken care of. IF you have children, have their stuff all ready to go so you’re not rushing while perhaps being forgetful. If I want to go on an EARLY solo run, I make sure all is set out in a pile for each boy along with their breakfast choices. Makes it a no brainer for Daddy!
•Positive Sticky NOTES: I’m usually always the last person to shut down the kitchen before bed so I like to write down something motivating as well as my goal for the day. It’s nice to wake up to it. Then I love to replace it with a sticky note for my hubby since I appreciate him watching the kids until I get back which is usually by 7!

I was a personal trainer for a long time.
I did one-on-one sessions mostly, but I also dabbled in group training.
I was ✨ 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 ✨about it. I loved seeing my clients grasp what I was teaching them. I loved seeing their faces light up with accomplishment.
Truly, personal training is a rewarding profession.
But I 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 just teaching someone how to exercise.
I wanted to 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿 into how their lifestyle looked on a daily basis.
