It was a pleasure to speak at The London Summer Event Show last week, sharing tips and tricks for handling on-site disasters. Here’s what we had to say: ▪️Keep your network of trusted suppliers close and treat them well - you never know when you might need to call in some favours! 👩🏻🤝👩🏾 ▪️Allocate some money in your contingency budget for on-site emergencies 💷 ▪️Manage expectations: if an element of your event involves risks, make sure your client / key stakeholders understand those risks, and the steps you have to take to deliver that element. 👍🏻 ▪️Create a contingency plan with your on-site event team: go through the ‘what ifs’ before the event and establish what the potential solutions could look like 🤔

About the exercise: Stand upright holding two dumbbells by your sides. Place the balls of your feet on an exercise step or weight plate with your heels touching the floor. With your toes pointing forwards, raise your heels off the floor and contract your calves. Slowly return to the starting position.

Nei restanti due periodi la squadra di coach Camicioli dilaga, forte non solo di un attacco più efficace, ma soprattutto di una difesa⛔ che concede a Fiano Romano veramente pochissimo.
Complimenti dunque ai nostri ragazzi, che chiudono con questa gara il girone di andata in seconda posizione in classifica, avendo ottenuto nel percorso fatto finora 8 vittorie e 1 sconfitta. Nella speranza di fare ancora meglio, si torna in palestra per lavorare sodo e prepararsi al secondo giro di boa di questa fase di campionato.

The first time I ever tried to throw a kick I felt like an idiot.
The first time I took a strength and conditioning class I dropped the barbell (btw, CRINGE-worthy moment).
The first time I tried wake-surfing I never actually got to the full standing up position.
Starting something is never easy. It will probably feel awkward and overwhelming and hard as sh**.
That doesn’t mean it’s not exactly what you need. Sometimes you NEED to be pushed out of your comfort zone to learn some things about yourself. •
So: go try. Go fall (literally and figuratively). And ALWAYS get back up and try again.
