Another word for this is your ego, and mine was being a little douche today. 🙈 My entire workout, my pants were falling off my body. With every move, the crotch kept slipping lower and lower. Good problem to have, right? And an easy enough fix, too!! I workout from home—just go change your damn pants!! 🤷🏻♀️
But did I do that? NOPE!! 🤚🏻 I just kept standing around like, “WAAAAH!!! My clothes don’t fit!!” 🤦🏻♀️
But ya know what? I’m not mad about it!! I view every single workout as PRACTICE. So today, I’m patting myself on the back because at least I showed up and kept my momentum going (day 80+81/100)!! 🔥 I also have grown in my self-awareness enough to NOTICE that was my ego popping up, and will continue to manage it better and better as the years wear on. 🙏🏻
Some people go their whole lives without mastering their mindset, and I’m only 31, so I think I’m ahead of the game!! 😻
Life is so much more fun when you ditch the pressure and cheer yourself on instead!! 👑 Don’t forget to celebrate the wins, guys. If you’re showing up and doing the WORK consistently, that deserves to be recognized. You don’t have to be perfect to make progress!! 🖤

Gracias a eso, a que @aidamarrufo no permite que me conforme y a que por suerte (o esfuerzo) dos de los movimientos ya más o menos los domino, es lo más cerca que he estado de hacer un open en RX. ¿Dónde pincho? Pues como siempre en la fuerza. Además viendo el vídeo veo que pierdo muchísimo tiempo respirando. A CrossFit no se viene a respirar amigos, así que es algo que ya he empezado a corregir. Se dice que eres igual de fuerte como tu punto más débil, y por eso muchas veces subo histórias en las que recalco mis fallos. Pero ésta vez estoy bastante contenta y también hay que decirlo oiga. Lo mío me ha costado. We’ve been throwing these for 7 years now, and this year was the first year that I felt like every single person was just right. 👌🏻
In the beginning, we had party friends (ya know, the kind you can drink with but that’s it). After my autoimmune disease diagnosis + starting my biz, we cut some people and also lost some along the way. 🤷🏻♀️ So we had a few years of parties that SUCKED. 🤣 It was kinda depressing, but we just kept plugging along looking for the right peeps. 🤔
Fast-forward to this year... ⏭
My parents said, “Wow!! You guys have some really great people in your life now.” YES WE DO!! 😻 And do you wanna know why?
MY BUSINESS. 💪🏻
So many of the people there were either because of, or positively impacted by, my coaching biz.
-I met Lindz through FB as I was networking for business. She became my friend, met my cousin Danny through our parties, and now they are happily dating. 💑
-I met Michelle through IG as I was networking for business. She and I clicked because we love blue hair and dog rescue. She’s quickly becoming one of my favorite humans!! 💙
-My mother-in-law is employed because of my biz, and is also 33 lbs down because of it!! 🔥
-Our little sis was able to save enough money for an LPS bag by doing odd jobs for my business.
-My cousin Beth is a coach on Team Diesel & Daisies, and is down 40 lbs postpartum!!
-Sogi was recommended to me to help train Diesel after two failed trainers—by someone I met on FB while networking for my biz. 🐶
I could go on and on, but you get the point!! 😜
I feel like we’re taught making friends is easy, but TBH, making quality friends really isn’t. 😅 This job has given me clarity around my priorities + the tools to meet people with my same values—and it’s finally reflected in my social circle!! 😻

I absolutely love being a WAHM and not being limited to having fun only on the weekends. big crowds overwhelm me, and absolutely drain my energy. So being able to enjoy fun things during the week is perfect! Can you relate?
Don't get me wrong, working at home is hard. It's challenging, but I love the flexibility. I love getting to decide my hours. I love deciding that I CAN build a life of FREEDOM. From home, or the car, or while working my other job.
Serving others is my love language, but serving people who also love serving people really fills my cup! That's when my journey comes full circle. I wake up asking myself, who needs me today?

Do you feel like everyone today has a method, secret or a way of doing things that is the only right way? 🤔
Their way is the way to get XYZ? 😪
Let me tell you something. I believe in none of that 💩
And you know why? Because there is no one way of doing anything!
You can get to the same point if you take two completely different paths. 📍
If you’re taking the longer one, well guess what?
You probably won’t even know because you’ll be learning so much while on it!
Your path and your way is the right one! 🛤
If on the other hand, you don’t feel like going on that adventure, then find someone who wants to and who knows the path well.
This is what I tell myself. When I went off social media last Saturday, I was genuinely shocked by how many times I was picking up my phone to go on here 🙈 I had no idea!
When it comes to things that I want to achieve, I think I’ve got better at making plans & carrying them out, but I still love the excuse that I don’t have enough time to do X.
I’m ok with being honest with myself.
I know that my brain comes up with great reasons why I can’t do something, but I also know that I’m the only one who can make my dreams come true. No one else is going to do it for me!
This isn’t to make me feel bad. This is to give myself the courage to admit that my excuses are just that - excuses. I’m in charge and nobody else!
I’ve got a few goals in the pipeline that I haven’t started yet - and I’ve told myself that I haven’t got the time yet. But I wonder if that’s true? I’m going to track my time and see how much spare time I actually have. I do think down time is important but it will be interesting to see.

« Yo t’es ben en shape??! » merci, c’est ça que ça fait s’entraîner pendant 4h de temps et aller manger un gros bol de salade après 🌤⛸🥗😌 un moment donner y’a pas dsecret.. faut juste s’entraîner et bien manger CONTINUELLEMENT,, pas aller au gym 3-4x par mois pi manger du mcdo à chaque semaine..Dès la maternelle ma mère m’a toujours mis que des collations santé dans mon lunch.. difficile de réussir à échanger ta pomme verte contre un jo-louis ou ton yougourt contre les fameux dunkaroos..les filles de patins riaient toujours de moi quand j’essayais d’échanger mes collations mais aujourd’hui jpeux remercier ma mère qui a pas cédez à mes caprices, jfit encore dans mes jeans aumoins que je peux dire à ces filles.. la roue tourne, et même si c’est difficile de résister,, oui jsuis moi même une vrais bébite à sucre, mais je m’arrange après pour perdre sque j’ai manger 🏋🏻♀️🤸🏼♀️🏊🏻♀️⛸🏀je dis pas qui faut absolument avoir des abs, mais je dis juste que si tu te sens complexé, et que tu aimerais changer ça, ça va pas se faire tout seul.. le succès c’est plate, c’est vraiment plate pcq même si c’est dure, faut continuer et c’est pour ça on appel ça le succès parce que même si t’a beau donner tout les conseils du monde et tes meilleurs recettes secrètes, tu révèles tes trucs pour que les autres réussissent à leur tour, ben malheureusement, y’en a beaucoup qui abandonne à mis-chemin. C’est ink dure, c’est pas dangereux, dis-toi ça😉 pi oui ça en prends des cheat day, on est pas des machines moi meme j’ai manger 2 cupcakes et 1 morceaux dgateau pi des resee’s en 1 journée 🥳😅🙈🙈 ben le lendemain jpeux te dire que j’me suis donné à l’entraînement et j’ai manger santé pour les 4jours qui ont suivis.
