#schornsteinfeger#dashandwerk#chimneysweep#handwerk#handwerker#handwerkerin#craftswoman#craftsman#strong#stronggirls#rooftop#work#worklifebalance#stopdiscrimination#stopgenderroles#yourworldyourrules#shecandoboth#lustaufhandwerk
NEW CLASS: Energy Awareness Meditation (See FB Events)
Do you feel drained after work?
Is your job making you sick?
Want to genuinely feel a sense of vitality and less overwhelm?
Effective Energy Management is the practical application of conscious awareness of the energy we take on board from others every day.
Transcending in Meditation and experiencing peace and relaxation is great and all - but the common reality is; our every day responsibilities at work, home, in business, raising families and studying...
Can leave little room for genuine connection to Self, let alone an awareness of what Energy we are experiencing at any time.
What if I told you, most of what you 'take home' doesn't even belong to you?
The frustration, anger, anxiety, guilt, the stuff that keeps you awake at night worried about the next day at work - the HEAVY load that walks through the door at home when you do - has no place at the table with your loved ones. Afterall, these are the very people we choose to create a life for, and work the jobs we do.
While in the comfort of the place that is suppose to be your escape from the stress of the world out there, you are still consumed with the Energy of your day. Probably feeling very different to how you started, optimistic and hopeful, right?
It doesn't matter what Industry you work in, so many of us are familiar with the dread, drain and deflation that comes from working within high stress environments - even if our job isn't.
Your workplace carries a common Energy.
Think about it:
Are the majority of your clients, patrons and patients experiencing Fear, Anger, Grief or Stress in some form?
It's not just limited to hospitals, corrections' facilities or care services... The same energy can be experienced in banks, shopping centres, licensed restaurants and bars...many places.
As much as we wish workplaces would change - change starts first with awareness. It starts with us.
Energy is real and so too is the Human Bio Magnetic Field- measurable by science.
It's why we feel lifted, supported & light around some people - and not so much by others. (Continued)

Not set goals for 2020 yet? And I mean, really taken the time to write them down, think about them and share them with someone who gives a damn... Ask yourself these 3 questions:
Q1. Does criticism prevent me from setting goals?
Q2. What would I attempt if I new I would succeed?
Q3. Does the fear of failing stop me from taking risks?
Goal setting enables you to control the direction of change in your life.
Share in the comments below which question resonated with you most ❤️
Nobody explains to you what being an adult is like. One minute you are studying to get into university and the next you are not too far off thirty and you think “where has time gone”. Working a full time job at a school, looking after a dog, a house, going to the gym, creating content and socialising, it all just seems too much but a lot of people do it. If you can do all of this plus more and you’re still okay, then ratings, you are the kind of person I aspire to be.

Hotel life. I feel like I was only home for 3 days before having to fly out again. Back home Friday till Wednesday and away again. Making sure I get a serving of greens every night. Tonight I went with duck and omg friggin amazing. Time to head down to the gym and get my step count up after spending 12 hours in a car. #worklifebalance#duck#veg#dinner#rockhampton#territorymanager#sales
Is this really work?⠀
Today I’ve been preparing an extra special gallery for submission, one that is a collaboration between some of my fave creative mums. We were all pregnant and had babies around a similar time and even though they all live 6000km away in Singapore I love that we have been able to stay connected through @creativelysquared. ⠀ ⠀
It’s so inspiring meeting and working with talented creators like Allison @imehly Cindy @thelovelyother and Claire @thebellgarden. They haven’t let motherhood slow them down, they’ve continued to create beautiful images while juggling work and family commitments. ⠀
This project is extra special because it had some special guest appearances from their little muses. Thanks for making my day at work infinitely cuter Singapore squad!
Ever wonder why the elders of our society say and do what they want? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's because when we are kids we worry about what everyone thinks about us.
As we get to around 40, we start not caring what people think about us.
It's only when we get older we realize that no one was thinking about us at all anyway! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We then are free to just be ourselves and go for what we want. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you want a jump start on creating the life you want to live? Then step into your wise old self and realize no one is judging, marking, talking or caring all that much about what it is YOU DO! Do you know what that means? Relax and be yourself. Go for your dreams, say what your passionate about and live your truth in life and business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's easier said than done but who wants to wait until they look like me above :-)

Day 28 // #30in30
This summer I decided to try a new workout routine.
The area in need of strengthening? My attention span!
The tool for the job? A big stack of ACTUAL books.
I hit my local library and bookshop and planned my regime to get my brain ‘back in shape for summer!’
I’m a pretty productive person and get a lot done in a short space of time.
But my reading endurance has definitely taken a dip with way too much time spent online.
I have to say, it’s been such a treat getting back into ‘proper’ reading.
And I’ve started consciously carving out time to read each week.
I even set my alarm for 5am on Sunday (usually my alarm-free day) to get an hour in with a coffee in bed before the boys woke up.
Have you noticed your attention span waning if you’ve spent too much time buried in your laptop?
We have so much information coming at us these days.
It’s no wonder you constantly feel like you’re running on empty all the time.
We’ve become desensitised to the constant grabs for our attention.
But you’re actually much more in control of where your energy goes than you might think.

I often get asked about my work-life balance and my answer is always the same... if you're doing what you ♥️, life balances itself out. The 🔑 is to always be in the moment... giving your full attention to what is around you and giving 💯 (with a tonne of gratitude that you are able to do what you love)
Live a life that allows a perfect balance of Travel, Work and Study 💙🤍🌍 📃

Today marks the start of Term 1 in Victoria. Last week I went for an interview and successfully got a new job which I was meant to be starting today. It was a fantastic school, a great opportunity, I’d negotiated to work only 2.5 days and on paper it was perfect. When I got home from the interview and started talking to my husband about it I burst into tears. Not a great sign 🙅🏻♀️. When I very awkwardly declined the job offer (knowing I was most likely burning that bridge) I felt an immense sense of relief. The thought of leaving my daughter to go back to work was devastating to me. I’m not ready 🙅🏻♀️. For my new followers, I went back to work full time after having Leo when he was 9 months old. I missed his first crawl, first steps and first word😢. I regretted it so much that I vowed never to do that again. We won’t be having any more kids (not planned anyway 😉) so knowing these few months left of family leave are my last means I won’t give them up easily. What’s the point of my post? Trust your gut. There will always be another opportunity and I believe that I’ll never regret staying at home for a bit longer with my kids. We have a saying in our household “Memories over money”. I won’t be an old woman wishing I went back to work earlier but I would likely be an old woman wishing I spent more time with my kids when they were little if I ended up going back to work today. If you’ve experienced that struggle of if and/or when to return to work share your experience below. #stingymama#worklifebalance#mumlife#mumguilt#aussieteacher#aussieteachersofinstagram#teachersofinstagram#aussieteachertribe

We say this a lot, but it's so important to remember to take a step back from something and look at the big picture. This week's goal: give things time and space, and success will follow. 📝 via @steven

Give just the right amount of time to your work, it allows you to actually enjoy your work or job. 4. Fix your timeframe at the start of each project and try to stick to it. 5. Learn to say no. 6.
