To buy or not to buy var spørgsmålet. 🤞🏻
Dzisiaj troszkę o wczorajszej premierze 💫
"Dziewczyna, którą znałeś" wciągnie Was do reszty. To naprawdę kawał dobrego thrillera psychologicznego. "Należała do niego. Była idealna. Aż nagle zniknęła." Bardzo lubię wątek podwójnego życia w książkach. Od początku historii zastanawiamy się nad tajemniczym zniknięciem młodej kobiety. Po fakcie wychodzą różne rzeczy na jej temat i okazuje się, że nie miała tak idealnego związku jak się wydawało, oraz że widywano ją z różnymi mężczyznami.
Z każdym rozdziałem mamy coraz więcej pytań i mamy coraz to nowych podejrzanych.

One of mine is a Phoenix! They are just magnificent creatures. So bright and colourful and I love the concept of them burning into flames and then resurrecting. I love the illustrated version in the Chamber of Secrets! .
Have to say I also love Dragons! They are so mythical and big! And seriously I was so have one just so I can scare everyone! .
Two series’ of romance, feminism and friendship. A fantasy love to trump all others, a story to make your heart soar. A world in which courage must be strong in the face of hardship, where bravery must be found in a land of mythical war. .💖💗💞💕. .
Two must-read YA books series’ for lovers of romance, fantasy or feminism.
#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Sarah J. Maas
After serving out a year of hard labor in the salt mines of Endovier for her crimes, 18-year-old assassin Celaena Sardothien is dragged before the Crown Prince. Prince Dorian offers her her freedom on one condition: she must act as his champion in a competition to find a new royal assassin.
Her opponents are men-thieves and assassins and warriors from across the empire, each sponsored by a member of the king's council. If she beats her opponents in a series of eliminations, she'll serve the kingdom for three years and then be granted her freedom.
Celaena finds her training sessions with the captain of the guard, Westfall, challenging and exhilirating. But she's bored stiff by court life. Things get a little more interesting when the prince starts to show interest in her... but it's the gruff Captain Westfall who seems to understand her best.
Then one of the other contestants turns up dead... quickly followed by another. Can Celaena figure out who the killer is before she becomes a victim? As the young assassin investigates, her search leads her to discover a greater destiny than she could possibly have imagined. .

I'm so excited to finish my wip but I'm far from it😂
But looking at these books really motivates me.
Jeśli nie to jakie godne polecenia thrillery przeczytaliście w ostatnim czasie?🤔 #wydawnictwowab#bookstagramfeatures#igbooks#booksarelife#booksbooksbooks#booksph#yabooks#bookcover#bookoftheday#booked#booklife#picturebook#bookphoto#bookgram#bookcommunity#bookart#bookcase#booktag#bookhoarder#ksiazka#czytam#czytambolubie#takczytam#bookstagrampl#bookstagram#bookphotography#dziewczynaktoraznalas#flatlaypoland#flatlaybooks#cafetime

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"He acts like a tethered animal that’s learned the limits of its chain—but knows how to lure prey to its death."
If you like:
- fairytale retellings (Beauty & The Beast)
- Alternating POV's
- strong female characters
WOW! OMG you guys! This was SO freaking good! Grey..*gush* my hero 💜 How can you not love him?! And Harper.. I loved that she wasn't your cliched female lead.
As much as I enjoyed watching Rhen grow and develop feelings for Harper, I totally shipped Grey & Harper! How about you?
Seriously..there's aren't enough words I can conjure up to describe my love for this book! As a matter of fact, I'm reading A Heart So Fierce And Broken right now! And I almost never read a series back to back!
Have you read it? What did you think?
QOTD: Do read a series/duology/trilogy back to back?
Haven’t been on this account a whole lot lately, thanks to a number of writing deadlines and accompanying stress. Writer’s block is too real, but when I find that the words just won’t go like they should, I turn to my favorite authors for inspiration. After all, the best writers are well-read... hopefully if I read enough, some of the good writing energy will carry over.
Okay so it's a suuuper late post today, but it's because I lost track of time 🙈😂
Reading update- I finished Enchantee by Gita Trelease and really loved it! I'm a sucker for historical fiction with a little bot of magic, so it was a perfect read for me! Now I'm about 20% into The Bride Test by Helen Hoang and liking it so far ☺
QOTD: What's your birthday month?
AOTD: Mine is in April 🌼
Bookmark is from @biggerprint .
🌙 This one, I am very excited to read! I can't believe I finally have my hands on #BoneCriersMoon by @kathrynpurdie!! Ever since I saw the cover (artwork by @charliebowater 😍 gorgeous!!) and heard the plot, I was hooked. Definitely one of my most anticipated reads of this year. (Coming out March 3)
📖 Sad to say that I haven't been reading a lot this past few days. I've just been so busy with work and school. I also finally decided to try and write again. I was working on something exactly a year ago, but lost interest in the story and just writing in general. For some reason, I got some inspiration again, and so I decided to continue the story. Nothing serious (for now) just seeing where it takes me.
❓ QOTD: Do you have any tips on getting over reading slumps?
Incoming appreciation post! This is a 2-parter, too many dope people....
As we’re just two days from releasing the last book in this series, I’m becoming super sappy thinking of all the people who supported us, contributed to the work, and encouraged us in a million ways both large and small. Thank you to everyone for your unfailing support, our gratitude knows no bounds. This might be the longest Acknowledgement for a book that we’ve ever written, but there are so many people who’ve been part of the journey and we appreciate all of you! Let’s do this... 💜💜
(Obligatory “link in bio” for the book, blah blah)

Are there any authors that you love and you’ve read all their books?
I’ve read and own all of Becky Albertalli’s books! I enjoyed all of them, but wouldn’t say she’s my favourite author! But I really love all the bright colours of her books! They all look really good together too! 😍
Yet and outhere seareas I still need to finish. I have no excuse to why I haven't finished this seareas yet.
So the last two night I have gotten like no sleep. Last night I had a bad headache, and the night be for that my insomnia was really bad ( that day l also got called in to work to cover someone shift ). So I have bin dead tired all day.

Happy Wednesday chickpeas ✨ my day off has been full of beach walks, cookies, buying new and used books and reading. I keep seeing this gorgeous book floating around and I thought I’d give it a try. I’m only a few chapters in but I can’t decide whether or not I will continue.
Here’s the thing, I’m so so SO done with the “ugly/awkward” female lead trope. I am sick of reading books where the girl isn’t pretty and smart, or where she only sees herself as beautiful in a unique way when a guy tells her. I am done with female characters being described as average or stick straight with brown hair and eyes because it isn’t realistic. Every girl I know is beautiful and unique in one way or another, and all of them have multiple talents regardless of their beauty. I hated Twilight for this reason, I‘m not keen on this book for that reason, and I am sick of not being able to relate to female character because damn it I am beautiful and smart. I am pretty and good at school, I know my worth and I know just how good I look in my skinny jeans.
I don’t care for SJ Maas or her books but you know what I loved? The fact Celeana knew how hot she was, and her being good looking didn’t mean she couldn’t enjoy the library and fashion and kick everyone’s ass. The moment when she is so disappointed that her boobs have shrunk due to starvation at the mines was a moment I truly felt I understood another female character because it’s such a realistic, girlish thing. Girls think about their appearance and makeup and their clothes and that’s okay. Some girls might not care as much, but trust me, we all care on some level, however marginal.
So for the love of everything can we please stop writing books where girls cannot be both pretty and smart at once, or not love and appreciate themselves, or take unrealistic journeys to loving themselves that involve men because I can’t relate, because I am beautiful, smart, fantastical and geeky, and so are YOU ❤️ let’s get back to writing characters who take real journeys to loving themselves, because real women do that every day 💕
QOTD: what’s a trope you cannot stand in books?
So, this contest was way more popular than I expected! Over 10,000 total entries. In fact, given how many entered, I’m going to run another one in March, so make sure to watch out for that. Bravo to the many people who correctly decoded the phrase (in which the letters are shifted one spot in the alphabet). Because of all the entries, I decided to have two second place winners, and all were randomly selected by the Gleam system, which hosts my contests.
1st Place ($250 Amazon gift card): Angelica S
2nd Place #1 ($50 Amazon gift card): Nathanial M
2nd Place #2 ($50 Amazon gift card): Sarah Bu (more than one Sarah B!)
To protect their privacy, I’m just showing the above details and they will be directly contacted via email. Winners are also displayed in the contest app on my website.
If you liked this contest, a) I’ve got another coming and b) The Initiation series books are full of riddles, puzzles, brainteasers, codes, etc. that the characters must solve, only their lives are on the line!
Book 7 of 2020: Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray 💤
Rating: 3.5/5 stars
I enjoyed this book and continued to love these characters! However, compared to the first novel, this one seemed to drag in a few places and I found myself disliking Evie’s character. Other than that, I read this on audiobook, and the narrator is fantastic! I will definitely be picking up the next book in this series in the future.

This is the second book in the Red Queen series, and like I said when I reviewed the first book, I will always respect it for brining on the wave of YA. 🌊 However, I didn’t absolutely love it. I keep considering rereading it to see if my opinions have changed, but for now it’s a 3 star read to me. From what I remember it’s written pretty young, and had a lot of repetitive plot points. 🤷🏻♀️ •
Does anyone else have a super popular series where your opinions changed after a reread? For now I have too much on my tbr shelf to revisit right now, but maybe one day! 📚
Book Pictured: Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard 🌟: 3/5
Mare Barrow's blood is red—the color of common folk—but her Silver ability, the power to control lightning, has turned her into a weapon that the royal court tries to control. The crown calls her an impossibility, a fake, but as she makes her escape from Maven, the prince—the friend—who betrayed her, Mare uncovers something startling: she is not the only one of her kind.
Pursued by Maven, now a vindictive king, Mare sets out to find and recruit other Red-and-Silver fighters to join in the struggle against her oppressors. But Mare finds herself on a deadly path, at risk of becoming exactly the kind of monster she is trying to defeat. Will she shatter under the weight of the lives that are the cost of rebellion? Or have treachery and betrayal hardened her forever?
Q: Do you DNF books?? Have you DNFed any books so far this year??
. . .
Happy Sunday, Bookworms! Hands up if you’re not ready for the weekend to end. 🙋🏻♀️ Why does it always go by so quickly?? Sigh.
. . .
Yesterday I asked you guys all about the books that you’ve loved so far this year, and you guys shared some awesome books! 🤓 So today I’m going to ask about DNFing (Did Not Finish) books. Do you ever not finish a book, or do you push your through and finish? ☺️ Confession: I am the WORST about not DNFing books. I always say it’s something that I’m going to start doing, yet I rarely ever do it. 🙈 I guess I’m worried that if I set it aside, I might miss something really awesome, especially if it’s a book that everyone else loves. I can count on two hands the amount of books I have not finished over the years, so I guess I’m definitely not a DNFer. I am doing to try to do more of it this year though, because there are SO many books I want to read, and I hate to waste time on one I am not enjoying. 😊 (*snort*, I say this, but I know I won’t do it. 😆) So what about you guys?? Do you DNF books?? Have you DNFed any so far this year??

Happy Monday! 🤘🏼For all my Folk of The Air fans, have you read The Darkest Part of the Forest yet?! This story takes place before The Cruel Prince, but both are set in the same world so there is crossover with characters, geographical references, etc.
I read this one before I started the FOA series. It’s actually what really interested me in Holly Black. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend!

#Qotd Have you ever thought of dedicating whole month to one particular author? 📚
Happened to me recently (weirdly). Yes, my interest has shifted to both literary fiction and non-fiction from #yabooks , but that clearly doesn't mean that I don't enjoy a wee-bit of fantasy fiction along the way.
Anyhoo, I haven't read any book by @rainbowrowell (don't judge me) and that's why I wanted to dedicate one whole month to her, just her. Lately, I have been reading such intense books, I definitely need to clear my head and start fresh. Best possible way, read #fantasyfiction and since #RainbowRowell has been there on my list for-ever, why not pick one of her books!
