As part of my collection created for the @thecrowemporium I have made a couple of Wizard of Oz themed baubles. This one is my favorite because it encorporates some of my favorite elements of the story! Poppies, home, straw, emeralds, hearts, home... It was a joy to create!
A fantastic Vow/YBR/Pepper session today at St Kilda Football Club. Thanks to Pepper Money for organising a great session for our brokers that even included a tour of the elite facilities at the club #vowfinancial#yellowbrickroad $ #peppermoney
This is my vision board. It makes me light up to see it. Such a beautiful reminder that magic is on its way. I already have so much to be grateful for - that makes me happy and fulfilled. What a fabulous yellow brick road I'm on! I'm in wonder of what I'll meet next.
Follow the yellow brick road… to sweet year 27!! I’m not over the rainbow yet! Thank you to everyone that shared in celebrating with me and making my birthday/costume/housewarming party special! I love you all! “There is no place like home”! 🥳🏡🌈. Thanks to @yongsbakery for my amazingly beautiful cake!
Musings: Why is it that a colorful stone pulled from a river, once dried and laying on your counter, loses its vibrant pigmentation that initially compelled you to remove it from its natural place? Is there something about water that brings out its color? When dry, the path appeared a muted brown, interspersed with gray and white rock. But when the rain came browns turned to deep reds, almost purple. Grays turned a light sage green. Whites became ivory. It was as if the path we had come on was no longer there--that Kansas was no more--that the city of Oz was waiting for us at the end of this multi-colored stone road. It struck me how even stone could be dynamic--changing. That mountains could become sand. That rocks could change color. That nothing, even the hard and seemingly immutable, was immune from change. That resistance to the inevitability that what is will not always be is an exercise in self-delusion. #grinnellglacier#grinnellglaciertrail#glaciernationalpark#eastglacier#montana#hiking#hike#coloredstones#paintedrocks#water#trail#watercolors#bicycletouring#freezetokeys#cityofoz#kansas#yellowbrickroad@tayfo88@jspiccia

ROCKETMAN is out.. who’s seen it?!?
I’m dying to go and watch this film- I love @taron.egerton !! So it prompted this throw back to my ‘Yellow Elton’ piece from 2017. It also prompted thoughts that I need to get around to painting another Elton era.. which look should I go for?!
Also if you didn’t know I used to live in Windsor... which practically makes me ex neighbours with Sir Elton John! 😏🙈😂
