this morning’s meditation was quite the challenge - as was journaling. i can tell my thoughts are running wild and if i’m being honest - i know it’s mercury in retrograde because this mental confusion i am experiencing has come without any emotion attached to it. to me, this means that i am not necessarily causing these scattered thoughts but rather, they are forming in relation to the current energy of the universe. i am emotionally unaffected (for the first time ever) because i am actively maintaining an awareness of my truth - making it easier to control and redirect my thoughts. i will do my best to remain mentally resilient as mercury in retrograde has been known to get the best of me more often than not! #thembsmvmt

“Conscious breath connects you to Spirit- your Life Force.”
Are you breathing fully? It’s funny, for we are taught many things, but breathing is not really one of them. It’s reflexive, thankfully, but also just because we are breathing does not necessarily mean that we are getting adequate air. Crazy right?
Anyone who has a predisposition to anxiety may not be getting enough oxygen + prana flowing through the system! When your nervous system is heightened, your breathing becomes quick + shallow. By consciously + mindfully bringing the breath back to a calm state, we can shift our mood + consciousness.
This simple exercise can be done literally anywhere, whenever you feel yourself starting to feel anxious.
Close your eyes, place one hand on your heart and one hand on your stomach. Start taking nice deep breaths in through the nose, exhaling out through the mouth. Allow yourself to let out a sigh if you need to! This is the energy releasing from your body. Repeat for a few cycles, or until you feel centered. Another option is to imagine a bright white light filling your aura and cleansing your chakras as you breathe. Open your eyes when you are ready. Welcome back!

Pretty much sums up the industry. I heard a prolific figure in the industry say that the field of #biomechanics isn't rocket surgery. Kinda irresponsible statement. FP is literally the only system tackling the equation. While rest are busy hypermobilizing themselves into a hip labrum tear, longitudinally compressing themselves into a disc herniation, and reaching spiritual states make them incapable of moving well, we are doing work. Time has passed. I have been bludgeoning the industry with this logic for 4 years now. Now that the dust is settled and everyone is in shambles except me, most are still trying to snake info from fp without having to actually change who they are.
If my tone sounds unappealing to you, it's because you would rather live a lie than realize what's really wrong with you. Most people are known to lie. Statistically, this is known to be a fact. I don't lie. Neither do the people in FP. This is what makes us different and why we withstand the test of time, while the rest are being exposed.
FP is the best. I am the only one willing to go under scientific scrutiny to prove it too. Put FP up against all training approaches and we destroy them. I know I will win, which is why I say this. For those on the fence about what to do with their body, take these words as a gesture to help move u in the right path sooner. This attack is not on you. It's on my competitors who lie to make a buck. You’re not though.
Your mind is a field of infinite creativity and exceptional thoughts. It’s a place where you come to rationalize, conceptualize, dream, and imagine. It’s your home of language, memory, and extraordinary skills. It’a your portal connection to consciousness and the spiritual self.
These days the rhetoric about being “trapped in the mind” or “too in the head” makes it seem like we’re prisoners of the mind. We’re not. Our minds are gifts and the sooner we start treating them that way, the better it will serve us.
There are times we’ll feel like there is an excess of thought, anxiety, judgment, fear, resentment or discomfort. This is why meditation offers us the time and space to digest our experiences in and of the mind. Once you start doing it daily, trust me it seriously feels like mental, emotional, and spiritual constipation if you skip any days.
It’s not easy keeping up a daily practice, but even just starting at 3-5 minutes of silent sitting in the morning & evening can make a 10-fold difference over just a few weeks. Try it.

What’s a girl to do when her hair begins to shine grey, but her heart still flutters blonde?
Does she stop and cover the grey to make the outer appearance match the inner experience? Or embrace the inner experience and call that grey glitter?
Does she recognize that her outer appearance isn’t who she is ? The outer appearance shows the life she’s living as it changes its colors, slopes, and curves? Just like nature and all it’s glory.
Can she embrace each moment for all that is?
Transition..... slowly, gracefully with ease or writhing and squirming. What shall it be?
The vibrant young girl she once believed she was is now a vibrant woman with creases and curves and will continue to transition. The light inside that shone in her eyes as a girl is still shining and will continue to shine.

I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I remember only being comfortable in workout clothes- my leggings were all that fit. I was depressed and not wanting to do anything. Jon and I adventured through Yosemite but there are barely any photos of me to prove it. I did not want a single photo of how big I had gotten not to mention I struggled the entire hike 😅. I was in a dark, dark place.
Things did not change for me until I decided to become a coach. I became a coach at my heaviest weight of 220 pounds. When my coach asked me to coach, I thought “Girl, are you crazy?! How can I coach someone when I’m not fit myself?” She told me that your first job as a coach is to work on your own journey. Alright I can do that. And that’s exactly what I did 💪🏼 I forced myself to push play and eat healthy even on days I didn’t want to. Have I missed a workout? Oh for sure. Did I splurge on Valentine’s chocolate? You know it. Have I had bad days? It’s part of life. BUT every day I wake up and try to better myself. Every day I remind myself how far I’ve come. Sometimes, I even pull up old pictures and ask myself if I really want to back there. And that answer is NO!
