This last year has been so FREAKING incredible... From my Experience of a Life time on Masterchef Canada... To talking /meeting all these AMAZING people along the way and after... To this new ADVENTURE in food that I’m on... I’m so THANKFUL for all of it... it was wild, crazy and just overall INCREDIBLE... .
BUT most of all I’m THANKFUL for my family, past friends and NEW friends...
Without the help of @ericalynmiller lots of the things I’ve done/am doing wouldn’t be possible... ESPECIALLY with our crazy brood lol... Thanksgiving is honestly my favourite... celebrating everything we are thankful for, eating alllll the food, no stress or hassle about gifts and spending time with those we love.

The boys and their friend insisted we go for a ride today. It was hard to say no since this may be the last ride of the season. I guess we’re having a late Thanksgiving dinner tonight.
They spent some time getting comfortable rolling over some jumps and had a blast. #yxe#byxe
One of the coolest places we stopped on our trip in the summer was at Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota. It's an entire block of restaurants, gift shops, and 5 cent coffee. There are literally signs telling you to stop there through the whole state!

This position has been hard for me for as long as I can remember. 11 years of playing sports like hockey with zero true mobility work did not do my lower body any favors.
Luckily the human body is incredibly adaptable 🧬, so it’s not too late.
It may look like I am just sitting here stretching, but I am actually staring through everything in front of me as I focus on isometrically loading via progressive and regressive angle isometrics (PAILs/RAILs).
Progressive angle= slowly driving into the stick as much as I can while attempting to bow it with as much force as I can produce
Regressive angle = immediately reversing and trying to pull myself deeper into a stretch using lateral hip tissue
Because I am loading are ISOmetrically at my true end range - you do not see my legs move much.
It does not look like much, but it doesn’t have to. This work isn’t sexy, but it’s damn effective.
I followed with hip axial rotations at end range. Accumulating a little extra time here while using the fundamental movement of the hip at end range.
Internally rotating and trying to squeeze out a few more degrees and then repeating in external rotation.
Hip CARs were next on the menu.

COMMON MAKEUP MISTAKES TO AVOID! 🚨
It’s easy to make these mistakes but once you know how to fix them, your whole look will improve! Let me help you avoid them (because they are getting in the way of your makeup looking its best). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Brows. Making your brows too thick and dark and sculpted (especially at the beginning) can make you look mad and more intense. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ Dark under eye shadow and liner. There is a time and place and eye shape that can pull this look off! If you are mature, want to look professional or have smaller eyes, avoid this look. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣ Nose Contour. I have seen some strong nose contours and the goal of makeup, especially when trying to slim the face or nose, is to create a shadow, keeping contrast low.
4️⃣ Blob Eyeshadow. I call it this because it’s when you go in with a crease colour and then cover it with the next shadow colour you do, your whole eyeshadow looks like a blob of one colour. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5️⃣ Lip liner. I’m all for over lining the lips to give the appearance of a fuller pout BUT the liner colour should be the same or one shade darker than your lip colour. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6️⃣ Blush galore. Blush just packed on the apples of the cheek. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Does your busy schedule have you struggling to hit the gym?? 🥺 .
Especially to all my university friends out there, we’re about 5 weeks into classes and it’s come to my attention that lots of us are struggling to hit the gym as much as we want to! 😩💪🏻 .
Here are a few tips that have helped me get to the gym and stay healthy even when life gets busy ⬇️⬇️ .
1) PLAN AHEAD 📕 - write out your work schedule, your class schedule, time you need to complete your homework, and then WRITE DOWN when you need to hit the gym into your schedule 🔥 .
2) REASSESS your gym routine 🏋🏼♀️ - sometimes we just don’t have 1-2 hours for gym time. Find a routine that makes you SWEAT 💦 in the limited time you have available .
3) Find a WORKOUT BUDDY 👭- find a friend who is also struggling to make it to the gym and keep each other ACCOUNTABLE to reaching those goals! 💪🏻 .
4) MEAL PREP 🥗🥩 - it’s hard to choose healthy alternatives when you’re on the go. Set aside once or twice a week to cook plenty of healthy/nutritious food to keep you going during the week! .
