Rollin into Monday with all the feels, grateful to be working on projects from coast to coast!⠀
Happy to be getting back to Calgary and normal routine but it's always hard to leave NL. It'll always be home, no matter how many years it's been since I've lived here. ✈️⠀
Aaaayee checked out @midtownyyc during their media event 😝! Got to catch up with other local foodies and meet new ones 💕. Loved the atmosphere, the drinks and delicious bites we had. Highlights were definitely the Nashville chicken and steak bites! Also had the squash arancini, pork belly, beef tartare, and oysters that were good as well.
Really enjoyed @eauclairecraft cocktails made with their gin and whiskey. The prickly pear equinox was delicious pairing to have with our bites. Especially if you don't like bitter, strong cocktails this one is perfect for you. It's definitely sweet, light and very dangerous 😏. +
"The term “pit bull” doesn’t actually refer to a specific breed of dog. It’s a catch-all term that usually means dogs who are one of a couple of types of terriers — American Pit Bull #Terriers and #Staffordshire terriers are the usual ones — or dogs who resemble these terriers in some physical ways, but who may or may not actually have any genetic relationship to these kinds of dogs. (You may be surprised to learn that animal shelters, rescues, newspaper reporters and the police don’t, by and large, genetically test the dogs they label as pit bulls; they just make their best guesses. Which are often very wrong.)"

I’m finally back in the shop! Working on some pretty cool stash boxes this weekend, similar to the slide boxes I’ve made in the past but these ones will have a spot for matches! One out of bubinga and the other is shedua. Gonna start work on the drawers tonight, we’ll see if I can get them fitted before bed, hope y’all had a good weekend! -
Great hair doesn’t happen by chance, it happens by appointment...and I just happened to have a couple appointment open for next week! This is your chance to grab it while it’s still available! @refinerycalgary offers online booking or send me a DM!

👑”Watch the Throne”👑. When Jay-Z said this line, I think what he meant was, protect those things that are of value.
This is the vibe I want to go into this week with. Minding only those things that matter. Being careful of what I allow into the door of my mind and spiritual environment. I’m watching my throne.
It’s a new week already guys. Let’s get it.

I am so thankful to be able to call the creator of these amazing products a good friend of mine. She’s a recent addition to my life and my circle of friends but I have had so much fun getting to know her.
She makes incredible bath bombs and NOW delicious CBD gummies and oil for me to incorporate into my day to day routine. Not only do I get to support a good friend, but I also get to support a rad ass boss mama while I’m at it! #womensupportingwomen#cbd

So many elements go into making a good painting and in this workshop we will cover as many as time permits, including composition, value sketches, black and white studies and blocking in with full colour. We will pay particular attention to making a good beginning. The initial block in can have an enormous effect on the progress of that painting; it can flow relatively smoothly or be a struggle all the way through. Deborah will demonstrate several ways to tackle that initial block in, and demonstrate her approach to any problems that arise, offering plenty of help one-on-one. Reference photos will be available but you may bring any that you feel will make good paintings.
Acrylic painters are welcome, but Deborah will be doing all demos of block in methods in oil, which acrylic painters may not find useful.
About Deborah Tilby:

💪 FOR THE WOMAN WHO WANTS HER FIT BODY BACK
But right now, there’s one thing stopping you…😕
With so much on your plate, finding consistent time for yourself is tough
But if you give me 32.3 seconds (yes, 32.3 exactly - I timed it)
I will use this ad to quickly show you how to prioritize yourself again
As a son to my own mother, I know what you’ve given up to be in the position you are in today. ⠀
I know it’s not easy - never said it was. ⠀
But the same reason why most women fail to get back into shape is the same reason why you lack the drive & energy you want for your kids…
You don’t prioritize yourself enough. ⠀
👉 Everyone else’s needs come before yours
👉 Everyone else’s meals come before yours
👉 And the minute you decide to take time for yourself, you immediately feel guilty. ⠀
See, this isn’t about trying to find the next best “diet” or “workout program.”
You’ve tried all of those already. ⠀
Not only did those other “solutions” not work long-term, but the methods also were not sustainable.
You know it, and I know it. ⠀
What this is about is to help you do one thing and one thing only…
To show you, step by step, how to truly show up for yourself again so you can show up the way you want to for your kids & family.
All you need is 3 hours per week, can you commit to that?
Just an hour every other day of the week, can you do that?
If you can, I can help you.
And all you need to do is click below, I have this 30-Day Challenge for women just like you.
So hop over to the next page, and learn the method my clients are using to prioritize themselves, drop 20lbs and feel happy and confident in their body again.
Yep, I will be showing you this exact method.
Why? Because learning how to prioritize yourself again is the hardest part of this journey.
If it was easy, you wouldn’t be reading this...true?
Once you find the time, then I can show you how it’s possible to achieve amazing results without sacrificing any time with your kids 💪

You are NOT what other people say you are. You are who YOU say you are. And that is a really, really big task and a huge choice to make.
It is easy to fall into others beliefs and views of the world and adopt them as your own. It is easy to go with the flow and not make any waves 🌊
It is HARD to pave your own path and be vulnerable. It is hard to be brave enough to be completely yourself.
But you know what? It’s always worth it❤️ -Walk the Earth

Nature makes my heart so full.
Growing up I spent most of my time outdoors. Skiing in the Rockies and fishing on the bow, countless hikes and camping trips in Kananaskis. It didn’t matter where we went I was happiest outside.
It was growing up this way that made me fall in love with the environment and ignited my passion for environmental science and conservation.
Now that I’m in a chair my interaction with nature is so different and quite limited compared to what it was.
I was lucky that I got an amazing childhood and youth outdoors but now that I am in a chair I can’t help but think of young people with physical disabilities and how they get to interact with nature. I worry that the inaccessibility and lack easily accessible and inclusive outdoor activities might limit the type of relationship young disabled folks form with the natural world - and that this might limit the number of disabled youth who become passionate about conservation and environmental science.
This literally keeps me up at night. And I want to do something about it. I want to ensure that EVERY child regardless of ability or circumstances gets to the chance to fall in love with nature like I did.
How do you think we can create a space for young people with disability and chronic illness to experience and enjoy nature? If you’re disabled how do you get out and experience and enjoy nature?
Seeing exercise as a form of self-love rather than punishment 💕. ⠀
Often, as women, we’ve been conditioned to view exercise as a form of punishment for over-indulging, over-eating, or simply disliking the way that our bodies look in the mirror. ⠀
It’s super important that we flip this script 🤬. ⠀
You are strong and capable. ⠀
You are doing right by your body by strengthening and by sweating and by pushing your mental and physical boundaries. ⠀
You are doing this because you respect your body and all the amazing things that it allows you to do. ⠀
Training can be one of the most amazing forms of self-love once you start to shift your mindset around it 💕.
